STARTING 10TH MAY AT BROUGHTON HUB TEACHING WILL BE LED BY MICHELLE MORRIS, CONSULTANT SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPIST (SALFORD ROYAL NHS TRUST) WHAT IS IT? A course to teach parents how to make the most of young children’s communication skills and ensure they are ready for school. The course has been adapted with permission from ELKLAN to ensure it is culturally appropriate for the Jewish community. The course includes: • Information on typical speech and language development • Information about communication difficulties children can experience • Opportunities to discuss ideas to help children: · Learn to Listen · Understand · Talk • An illustrated workbook full of practical suggestions
