FOR PARENTS OF CHILDREN LIVING IN SALFORD The Fed wishes to inform the kehilla that Salford Royal Foundation Trust, Northern Care Alliance is now offering FREE COVID-19 vaccination for children aged 12 to 15 years of age. The trust’s highest priority is to make it easy for children to access one dose of the mRNA PfizerBiontech vaccine before the winter, to protect the children who receive the vaccine, and help reduce transmission of COVID-19 in the wider population.

WALK-IN SESSIONS AT BROUGHTON HUB, RIGBY STREET, 9AM TO 4PM ON SUNDAY 21ST & 28TH NOVEMBER. NO APPOINTMENT IS NECESSARY. (The sessions are NOT at Beis Yaakov High School and Hershel Weiss centre as previously arranged.)

Please do not attend these sessions if you or your child/ children is/are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms. If a child has had a positive PCR test result they must wait 28 days before receiving the vaccination.

During the sessions all measures will be in place to keep people safe from COVID-19. To ensure immunisations are delivered in the safest possible way, please note: •

Young people MUST be accompanied by a parent/carer with parental responsibilities to be able to give consent for vaccination.

•

Only one parent/carer can attend with the child/children to support with social distancing measures.

•

On arrival you and your child/children will be asked whether you or any family members have any symptoms of COVID-19.

•

You will be asked to complete a consent form.

•

You and your child will be asked to wear a mask during the immunisation session.

•

All clinicians will wear the required PPE and the venue will adhere to strict social distancing measures.

•

Parents/carers will be asked to wait after the vaccination for 15 minutes, keeping to social distancing in a designated area.

•

Parents/carers should ensure your child/ children has/have eaten and had a drink prior to attending the session and is/are wearing a short-sleeved top to enable privacy during vaccination.
