‫פורים תשפ''א‬ Whilst being mindful to celebrate and fulfil all of the ‫ מצוות היום‬of Purim, we must bear in mind that we are in midst of a pandemic and national lockdown. Following a discussion amongst the Rabbonim regarding Purim for this year, we have decided on the following for the benefit of the ‫קהילה‬. 1. There should be no street floats or any loud music in the streets. 2. Gathering and dancing in the streets is not allowed. 3. No house to house shpieling. 4. All ‫ משלוח מנות‬for Rebbes and teachers should preferably be delivered to the Rebbe’s or teacher’s houses before Purim (and we ask that the schools notify the parents of this arrangement). We strongly request that these Takonos are strictly adhered to. May we take this opportunity to thank all of the Moisdos for their incredible extra efforts this year, to continue being ‫ מחנך‬our children in these difficult times. We ask the parents, to let ‫ פורים‬time be an opportunity to show their appreciation to these ‫ מוסדות‬and to the selfless, dedicated ‫ מחנכים‬and teachers who put themselves out for the ‫ חינוך‬of our children, and in return may you be gebenscht with ‫ נחת‬from your children. We would like to advise the ‫ ציבור‬to increase their Matonos L’Evyonim and to take into account the present situation when giving Mishloach Manos (‫)עי' רמב''ם הל' מגילה פ''ב הלי''ז‬. Particularly this year, as many families in our town have suffered a substantial loss of income due to the Covid pandemic and are in urgent need of your financial help.

We wish the whole Kehilloh a happy, safe and healthy Purim.
