MYP Launches New Series “Behind the Scenes” to Champion Professional Development

Did you know that there is more to MYP than socials and networking? Professional development and growth are key to our mission providing opportunities for young professionals to connect, lead, develop, and serve. In addition to our quarterly professional development seminars and lunch events, we are excited to announce a brand-new event series called “MYP Behind the Scenes.”

“MYP Behind the Scenes” will take young professionals on behind-the-scenes tours of local businesses to learn about diverse fields and the impact these businesses have within our community. These tours will also help young professionals make valuable connections with business leaders. “MYP Behind the Scenes” will give young professionals an up-close view of areas not readily available to the public, and give local businesses the opportunity to showcase a current project or demonstration and present a unique professional development topic.

In addition to benefiting our young professional MYP members, “MYP Behind the Scenes” will also offer our student members, in partnership with State College of Florida Manatee-Sarasota and the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee Campus, the opportunity to learn more about different career paths and make connections with business leaders in various industries in Manatee County.
