A Note From the Better Business Council Chairman

Greetings from the Better Business Council (BBC). This Guide was designed to help you as you search for trusted businesses that provide the products and services you need. I hope you find it helpful and utilize the tips and resources we have included.

The mission of the Better Business Council is “to strengthen public confidence in Manatee County area businesses through the promotion of high standards of business ethics.” The businesses included in this publication have publicly pledged to ensure excellence and integrity for the consumers in our area. As a consumer, you will have peace of mind when doing business with a Better Business Council member.

More than 300 Manatee Chamber of Commerce members have recognized the value of investing in membership with the BBC. Every business applying for BBC membership is thoroughly screened by our BBC Advisory Committee, a responsibility taken very seriously when qualifying prospective members.

Our small businesses are the backbone of the community and as such, I encourage you to shop local and consider doing business with the BBC member companies listed in this publication. Shopping local brings growth to our community, and community growth is what makes us thrive.
