camp information IMPORTANT CAMP INFORMATION

CAMP DROP OFF AND PICK UP TIMES

MPCC is committed to providing its youth the opportunity to get out and get active this summer through our summer camp program.

• Child(ren) are to be dropped off NO EARLIER than 8:30am.

• Child(ren) are to be picked up NO LATER than 12:00pm for Playschool Camps and 3:30pm for School Age/Athletic Camps.

• If you are a carpool driver and are late, you are responsible for paying the late pick up fee for each child.

• Late charges must be paid by Friday of the week of infraction.

• If there is a continual late pick up, it may result in the dismissal of your child(ren) from the program.

• Late pick up fees are as follows: $5.00 for the first 10 minutes; and $1.00 for each additional minute per minute thereafter Example - Up to 10 minutes late receives a $5.00 charge; 15 minutes late receives a $10.00 charge, etc.

• Staff to camper ratio will be 1:10/Preschool, 1:18/School Age, Athletics and Teens.

• Children will only be with their group throughout each day of camp.

Campers must attend camp in good health. If any symptoms are present, the child will be isolated, and a parent will be called to take them home.

• Campers must bring their breakfast, lunch, snacks and water bottle.

• Field trips will be offered for Teen camps.

• A credit card must be on file to participate.

CAMP REGISTRATION PROCESS • Create an account on RecDesk • Add credit card information on to your account • Choose and enroll in the camp and/or after camp care of your choice in your child’s age group.

• Complete and email the completed form to the email at the top of the form or return to the front desk to enroll your child.

• Check your email for your receipt of the camps and/or after camp care.

• Review your receipt for accuracy • Complete your child’s health and contact registration information via the link that will be sent to you once we receive your “Camp Selection Form”.

• If you do not receive a confirmation email within 2 business days, contact the supervisor responsible for the age group your child aligns with.

Summer camp registration forms must be completed and returned to the community center in order to complete the registration process.

Please note, we offer After Camp Care for Preschool camp participants, and Before and After Camp Care for participants in our School Age/ Athletic Camps. These programs are available for parents that need to drop off or pick up beyond the hours of camp.

ENROLLMENT & PAYMENT PROCESSES You must register your child ONE WEEK prior to their chosen programs including completing the camp selection form and health and contact registration form. If you are already registered and need to dis-enroll or switch camps (capacity permitting), you must make these changes one week prior to the chosen program; please contact program supervisor for the form.

You must have a credit card on file for payment. If you do not have a card on file, your child will be removed from camps. Payments will be drafted on the Wednesday prior to camp. If your account is not rectified by noon on Friday, your child will not be permitted to attend camp on Monday. If your account is brought to date after the noon deadline, your child will be permitted to start camp on Tuesday. To avoid your card being drafted please remit payment no later than close of business on Tuesday.

Mini H2O and GO

All Sports Camp

(Ages 3-5) This water-themed camp will include ocean exploration activities! Children will receive a swim lesson taught by a licensed instructor and must bring a swimsuit and a towel for this camp.

Space is limited to 15 participants.

(Ages 3-5) In this camp, we’ll try different indoor and outdoor sports, and at the end we’ll pick our favorite and have a friendly match.

school age camps There is no better place to be than MPCC for summer camps! An array of themes, sports, and fun activities provide campers with exciting and fun memory-making moments. Camps are for students who are rising 1st-6th graders. Campers will swim once a week on their camp’s designated swim day. Participants MUST sign up by the Monday prior to each camp for camps and camp care.

• Submit a completed “Camp Selection” form to front desk or email to the contact listed on the form.

• Complete online registration form via the link that will be sent once we receive your Camp Selection Form.

Before and After Camp Care Before and After Camp Care is available for participants in our School Age/Athletic Camps. This program is available for parents that need to drop off or pick up beyond the hours of camp.

Mystery Week

Lions, tigers, and bears! Oh, yes! This week, your camper will be an animal expert in related crafts and activities for a Safari themed week. They will need to keep their eyes and ears peeled throughout the week for our animal themed trivia game that Friday!

For our last week of camp, we will be offering a different themed day for every day of the week- but campers won’t know it until the morning of! We’ll communicate to parents if your camper needs anything specific for the following day. This week, there will only be one camp offered for School Age and Athletics.

Soccer Camp

There are so many sports to choose from, and if you’re having trouble selecting one, then this camp is perfect for you! We will cover not only mainstream sports, but also alternative sports such as kickball and dodgeball. $106/AAM; $176/M; $194/R; $211/NR

Soccer Camp provides players of all ages and abilities with the opportunity to receive soccer coaching. Each day includes individual foot skills, technical drills, tactical practices, small-sided games, coached scrimmages, and daily fun. This camp is open to all skill levels.

Ninja Warrior Challenge Camp With their newly learned skills, campers they will participate in a challenge at the end of a week of Ninja training! A combination of Capture the Ninja Flag, American Gladiators and Ninja Warrior Obstacle Course will test their metal and skills. They will learn acrobatics, proper use of Ninja equipment (foam safety and Nerf), Martial Arts, and more!

Cheer and Dance Camp

Taking place the same week as our Flag Football Camp, we’ll learn choreographed moves and cheers all week long, while getting into the S-P-I-R-I-T to preform at the end of the week during the Flag Football Game!
