MPCC is committed to providing its youth the opportunity to get out and get active this summer through our summer camp program.
• Staff to camper ratio will be 1:10/Preschool, 1:18/School Age, Athletics and Teens.
• Children will only be with their group throughout each day of camp.
• Campers must attend camp in good health. If any symptoms are present, the child will be isolated, and a parent will be called to take them home.
• Campers must bring their morning snack, lunch, snacks and water bottle.
• Field trips will be offered for Teen camps.
• A credit card must be on file to participate.
Registration is in person ONLY.
You must register your child ONE WEEK prior to the start date of their chosen camp.
To register for summer camp, families must complete the following steps:
• Create a RecDesk account
• Complete a Camp Selection Form
• Place a credit card on file
• Pay the annual, non-refundable Activity/Materials Fee of $35 per child.
• Multiple child discounts apply:
• 1st child: $35/standard rate
• 2nd child: $30/discounted rate
• 3rd child: $25/discounted rate
• Complete your child’s health and contact information in ProCare
• A link will be emailed from ProCare once we receive your Camp Selection Form to confirm your completed registration.
You must register your child ONE WEEK prior to their chosen programs including completing the camp selection form and health and contact information. If you are already registered and need to dis-enroll or switch camps (capacity permitting), you must make these changes one week prior to the chosen program; please contact program supervisor for the form.
You must have a credit card on file for payment. If you do not have a card on file, your child will be removed from camps. Payments will be drafted on the Wednesday prior to camp. If your account is not rectified by noon on Friday, your child will not be permitted to attend camp on Monday. If your account is brought to date after the noon deadline, your child will be permitted to start camp on Tuesday. To avoid your card being drafted please remit payment no later than close of business on Tuesday.

• Child(ren) are to be dropped off NO EARLIER than 8:30am.
• Child(ren) are to be picked up NO LATER than 12:00pm for Playschool Camps and 3:30pm for School Age/Athletic Camps.
• If you are a carpool driver and are late, you are responsible for paying the late pick up fee for each child.
• Late charges must be paid by Friday of the week of infraction.
• If there is a continual late pick up, it may result in the dismissal of your child(ren) from the program.
• Late pick up fees are as follows: $5.00 for the first 10 minutes; and $1.00 for each additional minute per minute thereafter Example - Up to 10 minutes late receives a $5.00 charge; 15 minutes late receives a $10.00 charge, etc.
Please note, we offer After Camp Care for Preschool camp participants. Before and After Camp Care for participants in our School Age/ Athletic Camps. These programs are available for parents that need to drop off or pick up beyond the hours of camp.

(Rising 1st-6th graders) There is no better place to be than at the Manassas Park Community Center for your summer camp needs. An array of themes, sports, and fun activities provide campers with exciting, fun memory-making moments. Campers will swim once a week on their camp’s designated swim day. Participants MUST sign up by the Monday prior to each camp for camps and camp care.
Before and After Camp Care is for parents who care prior to and after camp times.

(Ages 6-12) Samurai Warriors” its ancient Japan - the 1800’s. The emperor must put together an army of Samurai Soldiers! He only has one week to train the loyal farmers that surround his castle in Kendo (Way of the Sword), Nerf Archery, Foam rubber Bo staff, water artillery, and water cannons and this new stuff called Karate that one of the villagers recently invented. The soldiers have 5 days to train, including creating and building their own Samurai armor to protect them against the enemy forces. The fate of the emperor’s nation depends on your children! Your child will need a lunch, and two snacks each day. Please also send them with a water bottle. Campers will swim once a week on the scheduled swim day at the Manassas Park Community Center.

(Ages 6-12) Camp participants are thrust back in time to ancient Japan, where they must learn the skills of the Ninja warriors. With their newly learned skills, they will participate in the skill challenge at the end of the week. A combination “Capture the Ninja Flag”, “American Gladiators” and “Ninja Warrior Obstacle Course” will test their metal and skills. They will learn acrobatics, proper use of Ninja equipment (foam safety and Nerf), Martial Arts, and more! Your child will need a lunch, and two snacks each day. Please also send them with a water bottle. Campers will swim once a week on the scheduled swim day at the Manassas Park Community Center.
