IMPORTANT CAMP INFORMATION
MPCC is committed to providing its youth the opportunity to get out and get active this summer through our summer camp program.
• Staff to camper ratio will be 1:10/Preschool, 1:18/School Age, Athletics and Teens.
• Children will only be with their group throughout each day of camp. Campers must attend camp in good health. If any symptoms are present, the child will be isolated, and a parent will be called to take them home.
• Campers must bring their breakfast, lunch, snacks and water bottle.
• Field trips will be offered for Teen camps.
• A credit card must be on file to participate.
CAMP REGISTRATION PROCESS
• Create an account on RecDesk
• Add credit card information on to your account
• Choose and enroll in the camp and/or after camp care of your choice in your child’s age group.
• Complete and email the completed form to the email at the top of the form or return to the front desk to enroll your child.
• Check your email for your receipt of the camps and/or after camp care.
• Review your receipt for accuracy
• Complete your child’s health and contact registration information via the link that will be sent to you once we receive your “Camp Selection Form”.
• If you do not receive a confirmation email within 2 business days, contact the supervisor responsible for the age group your child aligns with.
Summer camp registration forms must be completed and returned to the community center in order to complete the registration process. Please speak with a front desk representative for more information.
ENROLLMENT & PAYMENT PROCESSES
You must register your child ONE WEEK prior to their chosen programs including completing the camp selection form and health and contact registration form. If you are already registered and need to dis-enroll or switch camps (capacity permitting), you must make these changes one week prior to the chosen program; please contact program supervisor for the form.
You must have a credit card on file for payment. If you do not have a card on file, your child will be removed from camps. Payments will be drafted on the Wednesday prior to camp. If your account is not rectified by noon on Friday, your child will not be permitted to attend camp on Monday. If your account is brought to date after the noon deadline, your child will be permitted to start camp on Tuesday. To avoid your card being drafted please remit payment no later than close of business on Tuesday.
CAMP DROP OFF AND PICK UP TIMES
• Child(ren) are to be dropped off NO EARLIER than 8:30am.
• Child(ren) are to be picked up NO LATER than 12:00pm for Playschool Camps and 3:30pm for School Age/Athletic Camps.
• If you are a carpool driver and are late, you are responsible for paying the late pick up fee for each child.
• Late charges must be paid by Friday of the week of infraction.
• If there is a continual late pick up, it may result in the dismissal of your child(ren) from the program.
• Late pick up fees are as follows: $5.00 for the first 10 minutes; and $1.00 for each additional minute per minute thereafter Example - Up to 10 minutes late receives a $5.00 charge; 15 minutes late receives a $10.00 charge, etc.
Please note, we offer After Camp Care for Preschool camp participants, and Before and After Camp Care for participants in our School Age/ Athletic Camps. These programs are available for parents that need to drop off or pick up beyond the hours of camp.

School Age Camps are for students who are rising 1st-6th graders. Campers will swim once a week on their camp’s designated swim day.

Before and After Camp Care is available for participants in our School Age/Athletic Camps. This program is available for parents that need to drop off or pick up beyond the hours of camp.

Ninja Warrior Challenge
Camp participants are thrust back in time to ancient Japan, where they must learn the skills of the Ninja warriors. With their newly learned skills, they will participate in the skill challenge at the end of the week. A combination “Capture the Ninja Flag”, “American Gladiators” and “Ninja Warrior Obstacle Course” will test their metal and skills. They will learn acrobatics, proper use of Ninja equipment (foam safety and Nerf), Martial Arts, and more!
