Registration
Registration is on a “first come, first serve basis.” You will only be notified if the class/program is cancelled. Late registrations may be accepted if space is available with no reduction in fee. We encourage registering online at www.ManassasParkCommunityCenter.com.
Forms & Fees
Each class/program must be accompanied by payment. You may register and pay for classes online at www.ManassasParkCommunityCenter.com or in person at the Community Center located at 99 Adams Street, Manassas Park, VA 20111. Checks are to be made payable to “City of Manassas Park.” There is a $50 returned check fee for any check returned by the bank. All credit card transactions are assessed a 3% fee.
Cancellations
The Department of Parks and Recreation reserves the right to cancel any class/ program which does not meet the minimum enrollment. All programs with insufficient enrollment will be cancelled 5 days prior to the program start date. PLEASE REGISTER EARLY!
Non-City Residents
Most of the fee based classes/programs are available to non-city residents at an additional fee. Please see the individual class/program for additional information.
Inclement Weather
In the event of inclement weather the Department of Parks and Recreation will follow the local government cancellation schedule. If classes/programs are cancelled, every attempt will be made to re-schedule the class/program.

The Manassas Park Dog Park features a large and small dog run for your pets to exercise and interact in a safe environment with other dogs
• Hours: 8:00am-Dusk
• Dogs must be current on all vaccinations.
• Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the dog park.
• For the safety of your dog(s) and other park visitors, choke, prong (pinch), and spike collars are strictly prohibited. If you use these types of collars, remove them before entering the park.
• No children under the age of 16 are permitted unless accompanied by an adult. Children have a tendency to scream and run when excited, which can trigger a dog’s prey drive or natural instinct to chase. For this reason and for the safety of your children, we do not recommend bringing small children and infants into the dog park.
• Aggressive dogs are not permitted on the premises. Dogs must be removed at the first sign of aggression.
• Female dogs in heat are prohibited from entering the park.
• Dogs over six months must be spayed or neutered.
• Dog owners must be in the park and within view of their dogs at all times.
• All off-leash dogs must be under voice control of their owners.
• Dog owners must keep their leash in hand at all times.
• Please do not bring dog food into the park.
• Owner must clean up dog feces. Seal waste in the provided bags before disposing in designated receptacles.
• Fill any holes your dog digs.
• Proof of a current rabies vaccination and license is required upon request of a police or animal control officer. Tags may serve as proof.
• Failure to abide by the park rules may result in loss of privileges or owners may be ticketed.
• Use of dog park is at owners’ and pets’ risk.

A nationally registered historical landmark, this 13-acre monument site is located in the eastern end of the City, adjacent to Signal Hill Park. Signal Hill is open year round from 7:30am until dusk.
A nationally registered historical landmark, this 8-acre Civil War encampment is located in the Blooms Crossing subdivision adjacent to Cougar Elementary School.
Included in the Camp Carondelet nomination is a Civil War cemetery located in the direct vicinity of Camp Carondelet in the Blooms Crossing subdivision.
A key structure in the Civil War, this is located in the last few remaining acres of the once Union Mill Park near the VRE lot and General’s Ridge Golf Course. This site is not accessible to the general public.
All parks and facilities are open to the public and may be scheduled for specific use through the Parks and Recreation Department. The rental application is a request only, not a guarantee. A Rental Request Application is required for all facility reservations. Special Permits, in addition to the Field Use Application, may be required for after hours events, special events, or group use. Payment must accompany a Rental Request Application. The Department does not accept tentative reservations. Cancellations must be made at least 10 days in advance in order to receive a refund for outdoor rentals. Applications are available at the Manassas Park Community Center. All rentals are subject to availability and must be booked and paid for 10 days in advance of event. Deposits are a one time refundable fee. Restrictions may apply.
Field Application: Athletic fields and park grounds are available for rental between March 15th – November 15th to registered leagues and group users. Cost for permits vary on the type of usage and the duration of the request. All field usage requests are accepted beginning January 1st of each calendar year.

MPCC Indoor Pool Information
The Manassas Park Community Center natatorium is an NCAA short course certified indoor pool consisting of eight 25 yard lanes, a zero depth entry, and a spa. The pool temperature is maintained at a comfortable 82˚F. Kick boards, pull buoys, and life jackets for patrons are available for use while at the facility. Certain areas of the pool may not be open for public swimming due to swim lessons, group exercise classes, or league rentals.

The City of Manassas Park, Parks and Recreation preschool is a licensed and Virginia Quality rated program. Our curriculum emphasizes recreation with creative programs that encourage participation.

Extended Care follows the licensing standards of the State of Virginia, Department of Social Services. Our Before and After School Care is for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade attending Manassas Park City Schools. We offer themed activities, which include arts and crafts, games, sports, and swimming in a fun, supervised environment! At no additional cost, some teacher work days, and some holidays are covered by full day care from 6:00am-7:00pm. For daily dropin information, contact Samantha Wollschlager at s.wollschlager@ manassasparkva.gov. If you are interested, you are required to complete the registration process for Extended Care. Registration and daily drop-in:
• Your child MUST attend Manassas Park City Schools.
• Pay an $80 non-refundable annual registration fee.

Welcome to the Teen Passport specifically for teens in 6th-12th grades! The Teen Passport membership is $20.00 per month. Teens can earn points toward their Teen Passport each month with good grades, community service, and by volunteering. When a teen earns 20 points, their next month is FREE!
Passport Includes: Access to the gym, pool, recreational programs, instructional classes, and more! Plus take advantage of the Teen Center, featuring computers, a TV, PS4, Xbox, foosball, and a pool table!
No Passport? No Problem! We want every teen to be able to take advantage of all our programs! Non-members may enroll in any class individually or hang out in the Teen Center by paying the $2.00 drop-in rate.

He is also, and has been, a Stage Combat instructor/ director for the International Renaissance Festivals for over 15 years. This one of a kind, special program is a self-facilitated adult social group. This program is designed to meet the needs of individuals with developmental/cognitive disabilities. Daily activities include arts and crafts, fitness classes, movies, computer, and video games. Buddies will also have access to the wellness center and the pool. Flashlight Egg Hunt

(Ages 8-11) Preteens it’s time to get your baskets, flashlights and lace up your sneakers because we are having a nighttime egg hunt. The finder of the GOLDEN egg will receive a very special prize basket filled with treats! Along with eggs, there will be games and activities.

Annual Egg Hunts
(Ages 0-7) Time to get your baskets ready and bring them to spend the morning hunting for eggs. Parents don’t forget to bring your camera because you will have an opportunity to take scenic pictures with our favorite bunny! Also, we will be having good family fun, playing games, and making crafts. Register each child for the appropriate time slot – parents are required to attend but not register or participate. Be on the lookout for a golden egg, the finder of the golden egg will turn the egg in to receive a special prize basket!

Let’s go fly a kite, up to the highest height! Join us for this FREE event as we launch our kites to dance across Signal Hill Park skies. April is National Kite Month so unwind your string and let’s see you fly high. Feel free to bring your own kite or purchase a $5 diamond kite while supplies last.

Annual Chalk Festival
Kids to Park Day is amongst us! Thus, join us for our FREE event at Blooms Park! Let the blank pavement be your canvas and create works of art using only chalk! The park will transform into a community art gallery as families design memorable pieces while enjoying the fresh air. Also, we will be having good family fun, playing games, and making crafts. FREE
• In the Manassas Park area, service operates Monday through Saturday from 6:00am – 8:00pm.
• In the Dumfries and Quantico* areas, service operates Monday through Friday from 5:00am – 11:00pm and on weekends from 5:00am – 8:00pm.
Book trips in advance through the OmniRide Mobility app or call our Customer Service office. Rides on OmniRide Connect will be Zero-Fares through June 30, 2025.
*A Real ID or Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) ID card is required to enter the Quantico Marine Base.
