DESIGN: The size of every apartment in Interface is different from each other. This building has 1,040 apartments in an area of 170,000 square meters. The floor area of the apartment is kind of gross. The approach is different from the other typical apartment buildings in Singapore. The structure of the interlace helps the building to look different from others.
CASE STUDIES
THE INTERLACE, SINGAPORE
The designers of the apartment gave the building a new identity in the apartment. However, the apartment is six-story tall and all the blocks of the building are arranged in a hexagonal shape. The building contains thirty-one apartment blocks. Each block has the same height. In fact, every block of the building has six stories.

The Green area of The
Architecture :
Interlace The Interlace is 112% green than any other apartment building in Singapore. Accordingly, the apartment has the maximum presence of nature than other places and buildings. It shows the presence of nature and greenery with extensive sky terraces, balconies, and roof gardens. The Interlace works through environmental analysis. The environmental analysis is sustainable and works for the analysis of wind, sun and also micro-climate conditions. The interlocking of the sky gardens with the vertical village creates both public and private roof terraces.
The design they made was too different than other apartments and buildings in Singapore. It has 112% more greenery than any other apartment. As we all know it is so unique apartment building.
The landscape design capitalizes on the generous size of the eight-hectare site and further maximizes the green area and presence of nature. By stacking the apartment blocks, the design generates the opportunity for extensive roof gardens, numerous landscaped public terraces that provide even more green areas than the original site.

Sheltainer The concept is based on a micro-housing solution which targets the less fortunate. last year the design team focused on the micro-scale challenge by analyzing the simple human needs that can solve the crises in 3rd world countries. this year the project is taken to the next step with a new hope, looking at the big picture and shifting from micro to macro challenge. they choose to provide new hope for the people living amongst the dead in cairo and focus on egyptian life at cemeteries – where life and death are side by side.
‘Sheltainer’ is a project which has a deep vision that targets an important human aspect, solving a problem specifically for low-income families, students and refugees with simple yet accurate design for better humanity using shipping containers.

CONCEPTUAL DESIGN PHOTOSYNTHETIC
The inspiration for the design of this building came from plant photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is the conversion of energy from sunlight, water and carbon dioxide into energy for plants, that is, sugars, and releases oxygen gas essential to living organisms, where energy conversion is an important concept. That gave rise to the design of this building This is because we want to design buildings that can convert water, solar and wind energy into indoor energy and, if the energy left over, will share this energy with surrounding communities.

ELEVATION Bamboo is considered one of the best eco-friendly building materials. It has an incredibly high self-generation rate, with some being reported to have grown up to three feet within 24 hours. It continues spreading and growing without having to be replanted after harvest. Bamboo is a perennial grass and not wood and grows on every continent, except Europe and Antarctica. It also has a high strength-to-weight ratio, even greater comprehensive strength than concrete and brick, and lasts incredibly long. It is, therefore, the best choice for flooring and cabinetry. Unfortunately, bamboo requires treatment to resist insects and rot. If left untreated, bamboo contains a starch that greatly invites insects, and it could swell and crack after absorbing water.
