Sophie Nassiri Morvillo (Ensemble: Star To Be) is so excited to be back at the Playhouse this summer after her stint as Alyssa Greene in The Prom! This past June, she graduated from Northwestern University with a BA in Theatre. Kai Horvit (Ensemble: Dog Catcher) is thrilled to bring this childhood favorite musical to life at Sharon Playhouse. Kai was recently seen at ACT of Connecticut in Waitress (Ensemble, understudy Dr. Pomatter). Favorite credits include: Ensemble, understudy Andy Lee in 42nd Street, and Fred/Young Scrooge in A Christmas Carol at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre; the title role in Aladdin, and Kristoff in Frozen with Disney Live Entertainment. Bella Bosco (Ensemble: Mrs. Pugh, Connie) is thrilled to make her Sharon Playhouse debut! She is based in NYC, originally from Ohio Recent credits: Kinky Boots (Trish) at ACT of Connecticut, Hello, Dolly! (Dolly Levi), Kiss Me, Kate! (Lois), She Loves Me (Ilona) at College Light Opera Company, Bat Boy (Meredith Parker) Sweeney Todd (Beggar Woman) at WCSU. Jonathan Zalaski (Ensemble: Policeman, Fred/Wacky, Harold Ickles)- Sharon Playhouse mainstage debut! Jonathan is best known for playing Charlie Price in the CT premiere production of Kinky Boots. Off Broadway: A Tribute to Hal Prince (Dir. Damon Evans, Pat Birch), Perfect Pitch: Songs from Across the Pond (Dir. Larry Fuller). Other favorite roles include Avenue Q (Princeton), A Bronx Tale, Murder on the Orient Express, 25th Spelling Bee, The Addams Family Select directorial credits include Rodgers’ & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Matilda, Into the Woods. Jonathan earned his BFA in Musical Theatre from Marymount Manhattan College where he had the privilege of performing with the York Theatre Company and singing for André DeShields.
Maris Jenter (Molly) is thrilled to return to the Sharon Playhouse MainStage in Annie! A rising 7th grader at Salisbury Central School, she recently played the lead role in SOAR's production of Matilda. Other credits include Violet Beauregarde in Willy Wonka Jr. and Prince Harold in Sassy Cinderella (Sharon Playhouse YouthStage), and Bielke in Fiddler on the Roof (SOAR) Maris also performed with the state-wide CMEA Honors Elementary Chorus and Region 1 Chorus in Spring 2025. She would like to thank her parents, sister, and grandparents for their unwavering support.
Apollonia (Apple) Sbano (Pepper) Apple is thrilled to make her Sharon Playhouse Mainstage debut! Favorite roles include Miss Hannigan in Annie Jr, Vivienne in Legally Blonde Jr, Ariel in Little Mermaid Jr (all at New Fairfield Middle School), ensemble in The Music Man (Musicals at Richter), Michael Darling in Peter Pan (CCNF), and Matilda in Broadway's Back (Narrows Community Theater). Hobbies include swimming, singing, reading, writing, and hiking with her pup Finn and the family!
Lyra Wilder (Duffy) is delighted to return to the Playhouse stage for this timeless story! Favorite roles include originating the role of Sunny in The Hang Up, Bowie in Young at Heart, Tumnus in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Dodger u/s and Fagin’s Gang in Oliver!, title roles in Matilda and Winnie the Pooh, Dragon in Shrek Jr., and Cobweb in AMND. Lyra has also been spotted as a ballerina on The Blacklist (NBC). She's an 8th grade student at Kent Center School, and was part of the Juilliard Dance Experience in 2024. Lyra plays trumpet, ukulele, piano and guitar. Lyra would like to thank the entire Sharon Playhouse team for giving her so many opportunities to do what she loves so much! @thelyrawilder
Juliana Ferreira (Kate) is thrilled to make her debut as Kate at Sharon Playhouse! Previous roles include Charlie in Wonka Kids, Molly in 13 Jr , and a lovable Who in Seussical Kids When she's not on stage, Juliana trains as a competitive gymnast with USA Gymnastics at Dutchess County Gymnastics Center. She is also a passionate actor and model. Emily Hughes (Tessie) Oh my goodness, oh my goodness… Emily is thrilled to play Tessie! Offstage, she loves crafting miniatures, baking, and hanging with friends, family, and her kitty, David. Emily is playing the role of Annie in Annie later this summer at The Center for the Performing Arts at Rhinebeck. Emily R. Burg (Teen Ensemble: Apple Seller) is a rising junior in the CAP21/Musical Theatre BFA program at Molloy University. A versatile performer with 16+ years of dance training, she excels in ballet, jazz, tap, and more. Emily’s credits include Almost, Maine, Mamma Mia, Chicago, A Chorus Line, Beauty and the Beast, and Seussical Jr. She has choreographed and taught dance since high school This summer marks her second season with Sharon Playhouse, returning as a YouthStage Choreographer after serving as YouthStage Stage Manager last year
Katelin Lopes (Teen Ensemble: Usherette) is beyond excited to make her mainstage debut in the Teen Ensemble at the Sharon Playhouse in Annie! Katelin recently starred as Hope Cladwell in her final HMTS production of Urinetown. Other favorite roles include Cady Heron in Mean Girls and the Witch in Into the Woods. When not on stage, Katelin is dancing at Blue Studio Dance, where she also assistant-teaches younger students. This fall, she will take the next step in her artistic journey by pursuing a BFA in Acting for Stage and Screen at Missouri State University. Richie Crane (Teen Ensemble: Sound Effects Guy) is ecstatic to participate as Teen Ensemble in his third Mainstage production, Annie! He has previously been seen in The Prom, Oliver, A Christmas Carol, Elf Jr., and Peter and the Starcatcher at the Sharon Playhouse. Most recently, he was seen as Hot Blades Harry/Old Man Strong in Urinetown at Housatonic, a performance that earned him a Sondheim Award for Best Supporting Actor. Eric Thomas Johnson (Music Director) is an award-winning composer, music director, and pianist. Favorite Sharon Playhouse credits include: ALWAYS, PATSY CLINE; THE PROM; and NUNSENSE. His musical dark comedy THE HILLS ARE ALIVE! (Book & Lyrics by Frankie Johnson) received a production at the Manhattan School of Music last year, after previous developmental productions at NYMF and FringeNYC He is a member of the musical theatre faculty at Manhattan School of Music and has also been on faculty at the Primary Stages Einhorn School of Performing Arts. Krystyna Resavy (Choreographer) is thrilled to be returning to Sharon Playhouse after directing and choreographing their Gala this season and choreographing The Prom last summer. Recent choreography credits include South Pacific (Engeman Theater), True North: The Musical (Workshop), The Wedding Singer (New London Barn Playhouse), Guys & Dolls (NLBP), and Mamma Mia! (associate choreographer) She also served as Christopher Gattelli’s assistant on The Cher Show (Broadway) Her work can be seen throughout New York City, having choreographed Samsung’s Launch Event Move With Galaxy featuring Diplo and Gwen Stefani, Steps in Concert at the Joyce Theater, Leg Up On Life benefitting The Trevor Project (Sony Hall, HK Hall), Arts for Alzheimer’s, The Love Project, Jared Grimes’s Run The Night, New York City Dance Alliance, Onstage New York, and more Krystyna is currently on the theater jazz faculty at Steps on Broadway and guest faculty for New York City Dance Alliance. Previously, Meghan served as Chief Operations Officer at the National Society of Compliance Professionals (NSCP), where she led all operational departments, implemented automated workflows, unified CRM systems, and produced both in-person and virtual conferences Under her leadership, NSCP achieved consistent membership and event revenue growth She beganhertenureatNSCPasBusinessDevelopmentManagerin2014.Earlierinhercareer,Meghanheldroles in product development and sales at National Regulatory Services (NRS), where she supported the sale of compliance products. Michael Kevin Baldwin (Education and Community Director) is thrilled to be embarking on his 5th season as a staff member of the Sharon Playhouse and his 4th season as a member of the Leadership Team. This year Michael is excited to be an actor in the MainStage production of Annie (FDR), director of the inaugural preprofessional Launchpad Company production of Once Upon a Mattress, and playwright of the YouthStage production of The Great Amusement Park Mystery! Directing credits at the Playhouse include Oliver!, As You Like It (site-specific at the Equus Effect), Pride and Prejudice, A Midsummer Night's Dream, A Charlie Brown Christmas, Elf Jr., Frozen Jr., The Little Mermaid Jr., Mary Poppins Jr., Aladdin Kids, and a staged reading of David Adjmi’s Marie Antoinette starring Lauren Ambrose. Acting credits at the Playhouse include Tony Whitcomb in Shear Madness (Berkie nom, Broadway World CT Award), Simon Stimson in Our Town, Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast, Mordred in Camelot, and Bobby in A Chorus Line. Playwriting credits at the Playhouse include many original scripts for youth, most notably world premieres of Sassy Cinderella and Young at Heart. Michael has created performing arts partnerships with Indian Mountain School, Sharon Center School, Salisbury Central School, Housatonic Valley Regional High School, Kent Center School, and Goshen Center School. As an educator Michael enjoyed seven years as a Drama Teacher at The Brearley School and one year at Hunter College High School, both in Manhattan Michael co-created and directed the play #BraveSpace, which premiered at New York University's Forum on Ethnodrama. Michael has conducted masterclasses and delivered speeches all over the country, most notably serving as a keynote speaker for The Educational Theatre Association's "Theater in our Schools" initiative Michael received a Bachelor's Degree in Theater and Sociology from Skidmore College and a Master's Degree in Education from The City College of New York. Wendy Prause (Business Manager) started with the Playhouse in 2015 as a part time bookkeeper and quickly moved into the Business Manager position Wendy has managed both the Box Office and Administrative offices for many years In many cases Wendy is the first voice that customers hear when planning their season of tickets. Customer service has always been an important part of the job. Sarah Cuoco (Education and Outreach Manager) is proud to be a part of the Sharon Playhouse team Sarah leads a dynamic range of youth programming and community engagement initiatives A seasoned dance educator and choreographer, Sarah specializes in Ballet, Jazz, and Musical Theater, with a passionate emphasis on Youth Theater and arts education Her extensive teaching background includes faculty positions at The Ballet School (Lakeville, CT), The Studio (Amenia, NY), and guest artist residencies at prestigious institutions such as Indian Mountain School, The Hotchkiss School, The Brearley School, and Falls Village Children's Theater She also served as a recurring guest instructor for Lara Luzim at PMT in New York City Prior to her current role, Sarah was the dance instructor at Millbrook School. She holds a teaching certification from the National Dance Institute, founded by legendary New York City Ballet principal Jacques d’Amboise, and is also a certified 200-hour yoga instructor At The Sharon Playhouse, Sarah is the creator and director of the acclaimed YouthStage show Sharon Playhouse Stars!, which features the Playhouse's youngest performers.
Barbara Gatski (Development Director) Barbara began her career at The Millbrook School in 2000, when she joined the faculty as chair of the World Language Department. Prior to 2000, Barbara worked in public education in Pennsylvania. A former Fulbright Scholar to Argentina and a graduate of Middlebury College (MA in Spanish Literature), she continues to use her Spanish daily Barbara is also a longtime specialist of the Spanish AP Exam and author of an internationally used textbook Triángulo Aprobado. In 2007 she entered Millbrook's world of fundraising as Director of Parent Programs. Barbara later became the Director of Annual Giving and oversaw Parent Education Programs and all family events, including Grandparents Day, family weekends in the fall and spring, and commencement exercises. In addition to her role in annual giving, Barbara has experience in capital campaigns and major gifts. She currently resides in Fenwick Island, DE, and in the Sharon, CT area
Justin Boccitto (Graphic Designer) has maintained a diverse career working in the theater industry for over 30 years During this time he served as graphic and media designer for several organizations including The Group Theatre Too, Common Ground, The New Generation Theatre. Kathleen DeAngelis (She/Her) (Season Costume Designer & Costume Shop Manager) A veteran of the TriArts at the Sharon Playhouse program, Kate is thrilled to return for her third season as Resident Costume Designer and Costume Shop Manager. She has worked for over a decade with the HMTS Program at HVRHS, this year designing Urinetown. Max Hagen (Company Manager) is thrilled to return to The Sharon Playhouse for his fifth summer. In past years, Max has worked on MainStage productions as A2 and Assistant Stage Manager, and on YouthStage productions as Assistant Director and Production Stage Manager This past winter, Max graduated from Sarah Lawrence College where he concentrated in theatrical sound design, performance, and LGBTQ+ studies.
Alix Lewis (Technical Director) has been part of Sharon Playhouse in various roles for five years now and is very happy to have a place in it She was the Lighting Designer for the productions of Oliver!, Something Rotten, Shear Madness and A Raisin in the Sun at the playhouse. She is a graduate of Western Connecticut State University with a degree in Theater Design and Tech. Karla Woodworth (Scenic Artist) has a degree in fine art from Paier College of Art She has been classically trained in a number of mediums including scenic art, faux finishes and Rosemaling. James McFarland (Production Carpenter) is an experienced carpenter, brings passion and versatility to every job. His recent credits include a carpenter in All Shook Up at the Cumberland County Playhouse and a brief role as assistant stage manager for several university productions John's commitment to theatre and his ability to connect with co-workers has transformed his life He has trained extensively in carpentry tools, including construction and modification of theatre sets. Beyond the shop, James is an avid reader and traveler, seeking inspiration from diverse cultures and experiences He is passionate about exploring the transformative power of theatre and is thrilled to be part of this company
Megan Oravitz (Production Carpenter) is a Red Hook, Brooklyn-based freelance carpenter, PA, and driver for theater and film, though she gained her start doing stage management She has worked for Off-Broadway theaters, commercials and documentaries, and a variety of prop and fabrication companies but she has missed being a part of theater productions, and is excited for the summer!

Conor Kimlicko (Lighting/Electrics Apprentice) is a 2025 graduate of Montclair State University starting his career in the theatrical world at Sharon Playhouse During his time in college he has worked both as a Lighting Designer and as an Electrician, and is excited to bring the skills he has learned and refine them over the Summer He is proud to start his career here at Sharon Playhouse. It took him longer than one would expect to find his bliss, but he has founded it theatre, doing what he loves. His favorite movie is Alien (1979) and his favorite dinosaur is Ankylosaurus.
Ciara Jade McCurdy (Scenic Apprentice) is a passionate technical theatre designer She has experience in hair and makeup design, scenic design, lighting design, marketing, and directing.
