No doll photograph would be complete without some BLU TACK to hold everything in place!
A selection of SNAP STUDS to fix any vintage dolls clothes and accessories
A reel of INVISIBLE THREAD to hold doll poses, pull out clothing (especially skirts/dresses) and hold accessories in place
A small SEWING KIT for repairs and on-set tailoring. Build up a range of cotton colours and needle sizes
Pack a pair of small SCISSORS for trimming stray threads on clothing - the small size makes for a more precise snip
WHAT IS A
Dolly KIT BAG?
Mini BULL DOG CLIPS are great for holding clothing in place and ensuring a better fit Use bigger ones for holding backdrops in place.
Mini rolls of CELLOTAPE for holding accessories in place and use folded tape as an instant lint, dust and hair remover
Using a small or child's TOOTHBRUSH is the perfect way to smooth hair and tame away any flyway strands
This compact LINT ROLLER will make light work of removing threads, dust and hairs on clothing, interiors and fabrics
Either a doll's brush, a fine comb or an EYEBROW BRUSH is essential to keep hair and flyaway strands under control
Pack a travel SPRAY BOTTLE of water to use with the toothbrush or combs above to help smooth hair down
Have a pile of these mini ELASTIC BANDS in various colours to hand. Great for hairstyling but also great for holding props in hands
Invest in a SLEEVE IRONING BOARD - it's the perfect size for pressing dolls' clothes professionally.
It's also worth investing in a TRAVEL IRON - it makes pressing small clothing easier and it's less likely to get burnt, as it doesn't get too hot
No professional fashion stylist would ever be caught short without a kit bag. The humble kit bag is as it implies - a 'bag for your kit'. They are generally filled with all the magic bits and pieces that help fix, adjust or alter any wardrobe or styling issues on a photoshoot or film set. We see no reason why your dolly kit bag shouldn't do the same, whether you're shooting inside, outside or on location. You'll wonder how you ever managed without it.
We asked designer Jo at @thesindyballetgirl to help with this fashion dilemma, as she shares her expert advice on how to re-pleat a pleated skirt.
How to re-pleat pleats:
Iron out the original pleats
Starting from the top where the original pleat is secure, fold new pleats following the pattern and pin in place at the hem
Tack each pleat at the hem with small stitches to secure Dampen skirt with a mist spray, then place a cloth support inside the skirt and press with warm iron
Leave to cool completely
Remove the tacking and tada - your pleats are back in place!

We spoke to Michele who visited Scarborough in Yorkshire. Scarborough is a town on England’s North Sea coast and known as Britain's original seaside resort. It actually has two sandy beaches – majestic sweeps of sand known as North and South Bay, split by the 12th-century Castle headland. It's South Bay that most people mean if they say they're going to the beach.

SINDY MOTORCYCLE 1982
In 1982 Sindy got a brand new realistic looking Motorcycle (44384) in bright yellow plastic. With black wheels (and rear wheel noise, no less), silver plastic metalwork, a white top-box on the back and a removable shopping basket on the front. It was sold with a red nylon flying suit iconic yellow trainers and a moulded crash helmet - and was just the ticket for getting Sindy around town
