KNOCK! KNOCK! The postman had to knock twice today - as Dream Date was having the most wonderful dream... Excellent! It looks like some of my online orders have arrived, some beautiful flowers, some cards and ooh, what is this exciting ... 'Be my Valentine?'
Armed with her fresh coffee and sweet treats she was going to sit down and open this intriguing envelope...

Dream Date wasted no time planning her outfit.
I have been wearing it since 1963, after all!
Her 'go to' Valentine's frock was back from the cleaners but, somehow didn't feel right for this occasion..
The latest issue of 'Sindy' magazine had also arrived in the post and had given her the most wonderful idea!
The new issue of 'Sindy' magazine had featured a wonderful dress hot of the catwalk and was just what Dream Date was looking for...
I really want to encapsulate my beloved 1963 number but, I really want to give it some extra wow factor!
Using her fashion skills (Dream Date had trained in Paris with a well know couturier after all!) Dream Date set about making some mood boards.

The phone call had been 'Sindy Cars' confirming her pick up time for the upcoming Valentine's Date.
Goodness this was all so exciting! But, back to the job in hand. I need to create the perfect dress for this very important date!
Oh, Pepper darling please don't mess up the sewing box!
The fabric was a dream to work with - such amazing quality and the perfect shade of pink.
The last few days had been busy for Dream Date. Working day and night - nothing a warm bubble bath couldn't fix.
Only a few nights to go, I better get my beauty sleep.
The big day had finally arrived.
Dream Date had contacted her good friend Margo, who owns 'Sindy's Secret Boutique', for some accessories to wear.
Margo had assured her that the bag, shoes and jewellery she'd selected and sent over for her would be just the finishing touches for her new dress.
I only sell bags made with real working zips and poppers - all stamped with a gold signature 'S' logo. Individually made shoes that fit the foot perfectly and, as for my jewellery, the realistic pearls, diamonds and gold chains are of the finest quality.
Margo was so right about these accessories - I must send her some flowers to say thank you.

Dream Date took her time getting ready - it's part of the fun right? The dress was freshly pressed and fit like a glove.
Dream Date had arrived. Weekender and Shopping look were so excited to see her - they could hardly contain their joy. You see the BIG Valentine's date was with her very best friends!

DEAR SINDY... By Jules from @sindydollpics Start by removing the remaining flakes of paint on the poppers - and then give them a wipe over to remove excess and any surface dust. Mask the fabric - or use those hole punch reinforcement stickers. Carefully paint each popper with enamel paint - they may need 2-3 coats. Allow to fully dry between coats

ROMANCE 'N' ROSES SINDY 1986 The 1986 Emanuel designed collection included this Romance and Roses Sindy. Specially created by the royal designers, David and Elizabeth Emanuel, Sindy came wearing this exquisite offwhite organza gown supported by a net underskirt. With a strapless bodice, oversized see-through puff sleeves all adorned with lace, ribbon trimming and tiny embroidered pink flower buds. Sindy also came with a basket of roses, Sindy rose stickers, a notepad and pencils. Pure romance.
