Yoson Tala collaborated with Seven Six Supah to create "Inseparable Ones." The project paid homage to African spirituality. It was released through White Cloth Music Group.

When Yoson isn’t in the recording studio, he is busy working on the sets of some of our favorite shows. A friend and publicist from Chicago connected Yoson to Cinespace Chicago Film Studios. He appeared as a rap artist on Empire in seasons 4, 5 and 6. Yoson was also cast on “Easy,” a Netflix TV series.

Earlier this year Yoson collaborated with Seven Six Supah on a project titled “Inseparable Ones.” It was released through White Cloth Music Group. The project was inspired by their shared study of Yoruba, Ifa and African spirituality.

In August Yoson will release a video for a track titled “Count It Up.” We’ll get a chance to see Yoson put those acting chops to use again.

“It’s a pop record with a Bonnie and Clyde vibe,” Yoson describes. “It’s about having two hustlers in a relationship who grind, travel, and count money together.”

Yoson says it’s a vision for how a relationship should be. He feels the record will resonate with women and men. The track will be pushed to radio to grow his listenership and fan base.
