SW Trelly, a rising hip hop artist hailing from Champaign, IL, is gearing up for the release of his much-anticipated full-length album titled "All is Fair in Love & War." He will release the project by summer 2023. The 21-year-old artist is known for his unique lyrical flow, distinctive beats and thought-provoking messages

Inspired by a world gone crazy, SW Trelly wants to use the platform of music to motivate others to keep going The album itself explores themes of love, tough times and the struggles that young people all over the world face every day But the album also reminds us that there are better days ahead

“The world is turning,” says SW Trelly, 21 “This generation needs a voice so I wanted to bring a positive message to them ”

“All is Fair in Love & War” will offer up 15 tracks produced by S E Trill, of Wichita, Kansas SW Trelly draws inspiration from a wide variety of sources including his personal experiences, his community, and the world around him He aspires to be an artist who can make music that is reflective of the times, capturing the struggles, triumphs, and complexities of everyday life, especially for his generation.

“I don’t think of it as writing music,” says SW Trelly about his artistic process “I just write about what’s going on around me ”

“I lost four friends in the last year–some from gun violence and some due to suicide,” he added

SW Trelly says those losses were incredibly hard for him to cope with but music helped him process his feelings about it. Through artistry, SW Trelly is deeply committed to using his voice to address important social issues, including police brutality, racial inequality, and also mental health.

“We have to start being leaders and not followers,” SW Trelly says. “It’s okay to be the Big Homie who is the example and can keep everybody on the right track ”

Since relocating to Oklahoma City he has focused on growing his fanbase He connects with listeners by sharing content on his social media SW Trelly has built a level of trust and intimacy with his audience that is rare in the music industry

He enjoys bringing people together by performing music that gets them on their feet and dancing to his infectious song lyrics
