Burnagang Bezzy has been making waves in the hip hop circuit with singles “Dumb” and "Bobby Boucher." Bezzy got his start in music as a member of the rap group Burnagang. It consisted of himself and his four brothers. Together, they created a unique sound and built a following in their local hip hop scene.

However, as they got older, the demands of adulthood and family life made it more difficult for them to continue making music together. Burnagang Bezzy acknowledges that this was a difficult transition for him and his brothers, but he also sees it as a natural part of growing up and moving on to new phases in life.

“Music took a backseat to everything else,” Bezzy said. “But I’m back focused now. And I decided to keep the Burnagang name.”

In many ways, Burnagang Bezzy's journey as a solo artist is a continuation of the legacy that he and his brothers began with Burnagang. And while he may miss the camaraderie and creative energy of being in a group, he knows that he is still connected to his family and to his roots in music.

Bezzy says Texas hip hop has also had a significant influence on his style. He points to artists like Paul Wall, Zero, Bun B, and Swisha House as examples of Texas rappers who have made a big impact on the scene.

“I believe Texas hip hop is still at the forefront of hip hop music today.” said Bezzy who travels to his hometown often. “Texas will always be home and I’ll always have that sound.”
