An independent film titled “Unsurety” will debut at the AMC Theater on Friday, May 28. Scheduled show times are for 3 p.m., 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Tickets may be purchased through the Facebook event page titled ‘Unsurety Movie Premiere @ AMC Theater.’ The movie was filmed in the midst of a pandemic and self-financed by filmmaker Devon Bray of Bray Films. “Unsurety” is about a broken, hard-working, single-parent who supports her daughter by running an outpatient clinic. The film’s main character, Olivia Moore, is played by local actress Kandace Burnett. Olivia reconnects with ex-NFL player Corey Mack played by Deonde Crawford, also of Wichita. As Olivia makes efforts to allow her heart to be mended by Corey, adversity settles in from all angles. Secrets, lies, betrayals, and death. Olivia no longer recognizes her life as her own, leaving her in a place of unsurety.
