BeeStang Bee As a member of Duffle Bag Boyz, he toured alongside 2 Chainz to perform hit singles all across the country. However, BeeStang Bee– then known as M Beezy, later walked away from music. But the Mempis, Tennessee artist found himself back in the studio. After quietly releasing some of the singles, DJs urged him to pick back up the mic. He took the opportunity to reinvent himself and is now tapping into product-branding. BeeStang Bee also has a hot new single on the way titled “Meet the Ratchets,” with da baddest rapper Trina.

BeeStang Bee is preparing to tour with Core DJs Worldwide and he has no plans of stopping any time soon. But taking a break from music years ago helped him learn the business side of music–something he admits not having much knowledge about at the start of his career.

“Backing away from it helped me build my business,” says BeeStang Bee. “I was able to grow and accomplish some things away from music like becoming a homeowner.”

BeeStang Bee recalls being a Duffle Bag Boy and watching 2 Chainz establish a rapport with DJs and promoters as “Tity Boi.” He didn’t realize how instrumental those moments would be but does now as he maneuvers his own career as an artist.

“Now that I look back on it, that helped me see that you can truly lose a hit if you don’t handle business and do with it what you’re supposed to,” he said. “I didn’t understand the importance of having those relationships with DJs and promoters back then.”

BeeStang Bee is now working his a** off to build a foundation that can support where he’s currently at in his artistry.

After DJs heard his “Meet the Ratchets” single, they told him it was a guaranteed hit. An affiliate with Universal Records suggested BeeStang Bee add Trina to the single.

“I told him, 'I don’t know Trina,'” recalls BeeStang Bee. “He picked up the phone and called her.”

“I knew it was a hit when I first heard it,” says DJ QuinnRaynor, BeeStang Bee’s long-time DJ. “I knew he was taking it seriously this time around.”

“He took what he learned in business and applied it to music,” DJ QuinnRaynor added.

BeeStang Bee has an edible line he created to connect with consumers. He will expand production this year. Exotic Pop recently welcomed him to create his own signature flavor of Exotic Pop Cool Cup Juice called “Stang ‘Em Juice.” It will be available soon.

His upcoming tour with Core DJs Worldwide will reconnect him to Duffle Bag Boyz fans and grow his fanbase as a solo artist. It’s something he looks forward to.

“There’s nothing I don’t like about touring,” says BeeStang Bee. “I could go on tour for the rest of my life.”
