On Saturday, June 15th twenty one swimmers from the Small Strokes Synchro Club set off for Invercargill to compete in the South Island Championships. It was very cold and wet and the fog in Invercargill nearly stopped us getting there! Everyone came home with a medal and some received ribbons for figures, as well. Our Club is growing and our standard is very competitive with other clubs in the South Island. There were four clubs competing at the South Island Championships: Alpine (Queenstown), Aquagold (Dunedin), Small Strokes (Christchurch/Selwyn), and Phoenix (Southland). Results: Daniella Baird: Baird 1st: Dolphin Figures 12 & over Louisa Chretiens: 2nd: Aquanaut Figures
