There was a large crowd in attendance for the Rolleston ANZAC Parade. Mayor Sam Broughton attended the Burnham Military Camp ANZAC dawn service with many locals from around the district.
ANZAC day saw Rolleston Rugby Club Division 1 players start their game preparation by attending the Rolleston ANZAC service, followed by a nutritional brunch. A minute’s silence was observed before their game against Southern. In true ANZAC spirit they were joined in the Clubrooms by the Rolly Rebels Golden Oldies and the Australian team the Rebels played on the day.
