‘When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade’ - was the perfect way to describe the impromptu triathlon, on Sunday, February 28th. Many local children were so excited for the Weetbix TRYathlon, but with moving into Alert Level 2, the event was cancelled and parents knew the children were going to be devastated! Some amazing families got together and orgainsed a last minute triathlon, in Darfield. The children all had an absolute ball

and the sun even came out to event management and the A great time had by all and play. The event was hosted by words of encouragement for the community spirit won on the Colin and Anna Lee, day. Lee a massive participants. thank you goes to them from the organiser. The course involved the children biking 4 kilometres around McHugh’s Forest, running 1.5 kilometres around Landsborough Drive and finishing with an obstacle course (including a sprinkler and water pistoles) at the Lee’s family home. Also, a huge thanks to all the parents who pitched in with the
