School’s and Preschools in the area welcomed back their students after lockdown with most having a nearnear-to full complement of pupils back in the classroom. Preschools were perhaps the exception with many parents still able to work from home - however numbers changed daily as people returned to their workplaces. “It’s been all smiles as the Centre Manager for Annabel’s 3 children at Annabel’s 3 year old year old Kindergarten. “The Kindergarten return after children have been enthusiastic lockdown,” said Katy Payton, and settled, plus a top priority has been reuniting with all their friends,” she added. “Our programme is filled daily with stories, memory sharing and new discoveries of families time together in lockdown. It is wonderful welcoming all our families and children back, seeing their smiling faces and reconnecting,” Katy enthused. “The sound of laughter is encouraging and uplifting and we are looking forward to the rest of the year,” she concluded. Since then they have evolved into a complete rural show in Kirwee with a large Horse section along with Sheep, Cattle, Goats, Poultry, Sheep Dog T rials, Produce, Home Industries, Photography & Art, Flowers, a Children’s Section, plus Steam Tractors, Machinery and Vintage Cars. There is also a varied selection of trade stalls, food, liquid refreshments and other stalls, entertainment and fair ground rides. Being a late spring show the pet lamb section is usually well attended.
