The Kirwee Senior Netball team - winners of the 2019 Malvern Netball Premier Grade, taking the title for the fifth year in a row. The Malvern Netball Centre held their Finals’ Day on Saturday, August 17th at the Darfield Netball Courts in what turned out to be great weather.

Throughout the day there were some fantastic games played with a few tightly contested finals. The Intermediate/High School Grade (Years 7, 8 and

9) game was won by South Malvern Minties with a ten goal difference over Kirwee Panthers. It was a showcase of the up and coming talent in the Malvern area. In the Social Grade the Darfield Goal Diggers took out the honours over Kirwee All Sorts. The Premier Final between Kirwee Senior and

Darfield Seniors was won by Kirwee with a fifteen goal margin. However, the score didn’t reflect the game and the Darfield Senior team was leading for the majority of the game showing skill and determination right until the final whistle.
