Windwhistle’s Amanda King is a fully trained school teacher who initially combined her passion for photography and her skill for instruction, to teach photography classes. It wasn’t long before she realised that photography really was a passion and while Amanda was known as a children’s photographer her love of animals eventually came to the fore. “I am a children’s photographer,” Amanda explained, “but I love animals and really wanted my own Highland cow print. I set about taking photos of Highland cows and that is how my photography business, ‘By The Horns’ began!” “While I began by taking photos of mainly bulls I now get requests for all types of farm animals. They are such beautiful creatures, and they
