A beautiful day and a relaxed courtyard set the scene for a wonderful afternoon of acoustic sounds at the Hororata Village Bar and Café last Sunday, February 19th. Local talent Ashy Batchelor, Batchelor along with seventeen year old Holly Kimber and owner operator of the Cafe Jarnia Kupe, Kupe presented a musical treat for all those who attended. Jarnia, accompanied by Riki Barnett on the Cajon Drum, began the musical segment with acoustic covers performing everything from the Eagles, through to Rod Stewart. Stewart Next up was Ashy, who debuted singing at the Café when she was only fourteen years old!
