Local Darfield High School (DHS) student, Lexi Sinclair Dockerill, Dockerill was the 2022 recipient of the Team CP and Signature Homes Emerging Athlete Build Your Future Programme Award. This Award is given to help young athletes to develop and progress their potential within endurance sport. Richard Greer and Kim Vargo from Team CP surprised Lexi by presenting her with the Award amongst her peers on Thursday, May 5th, at DHS. Lexi has worked extremely hard to achieve her goals, and the award meant a lot to her and her family. In 2021, Lexi along with fellow student Emily Morrison, Morrison completed the Coast to Coast Tandem Race and placed first in the Female Tandem School Grade. In 2023, Lexi will be competing in the Women's Individual event. The Build Your Future Award is a twelve month programme, where Kim and Richard will work with Lexi through regular communication,

Lexi’s passion for Multisport is infectious, her determination, endurance and willpower is amazing. Recently, Lexi has started a DHS Multisport and Adventure Racing Squad for students in years 7 to 13. The idea behind this initiative is to encourage students to give Multisport a go and to support and mentor them. To date, DHS has about sixteen
