Her inspiration comes from landscapes, particularly memory evoking scenes and from birdlife, she photographs. ♦ Elizabeth Rosa is a self-taught

Christchurch based artist with a passion for the New Zealand environment and the creatures that inhabit it. Elizabeth works in acrylics, oils and vivid colours to create regal-like portraits of native birdlife, full of attitude and personality. ♦ Sarah Beal is a self-taught painter, working almost exclusively in oils, having taken up painting fifteen years ago. Sarah loves to paint abstract landscapes, enjoying the freedom and happiness her imagined scenes bring.

Having her work described as deconstructed landscapes, is an apt description, as there is a clear element of nature in her works.
