ISSUE 1,000 Friday 13th August 2021
On Sunday, August 8th we saw the first snow of the season on the Canterbury Plains. It turned bitterly cold after a beautiful winters day on Saturday. Unfortunately, many events had to be postponed or cancelled. Some locals were delighted to see the white stuff arrive, many children young and old loved having the opportunity to make snowmen. The local area looked like a winter wonderland and it was a wee reminder that winter isn’t over yet!
