The greatest, most powerful and dangerous figures who shaped English history are brought vividly to life in Robert Bolt’s award-winning play.

Martin Shaw stars as Sir Thomas More –scholar, ambassador, Lord Chancellor and friend to King Henry VIII. Above all, he is a man of integrity, loved by the common people and his own family.

When Henry demands a divorce from Catherine of Aragon, clearing the way for him to marry Anne Boleyn, the staunchly Catholic Thomas is forced to choose between his loyalty and his own conscience, committing an incredible act of defiance for which he eventually pays the ultimate price…

One of the UK’s best-loved actors on stage and screen, Martin Shaw is known to millions for his television roles in Judge John Deed, Inspector George Gently and The Professionals. His recent West End stage appearances include Hobson’s Choice, The Best Man and Twelve Angry Men

Jonathan Church’s directorial credits include a ten year period as artistic director of Chichester Festival Theatre. He last directed Martin Shaw in the acclaimed West End transfer of Hobson’s Choice during his time as Artistic Director of the Theatre Royal Bath’s Summer Season.

Formed in 1985 as the antidote to mindless pop, egocentric rock, and the indulgent, bluster of the music business, The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain donned black tuxedos, and began giving ‘concerts’ in tiny rooms above old pubs. There are no drums, pianos, backing tracks, guitars, or banjos, no pitch shifters or electronic trickery - just an astonishing revelation of the rich palette of orchestration afforded by ukuleles and a menagerie of voices in a collision of post-punk performance and old classics.

ALL ANIMALS ARE EQUAL. BUT SOME ARE MORE EQUAL THAN OTHERS…

When the downtrodden animals of Manor Farm overthrow their master and take over, they imagine it is the beginning of a life of freedom and equality for all. However, over time a cunning and brutal elite among them, masterminded by the pigs Napoleon and Snowball, gradually take control. Soon the other animals discover that they are not all as equal as they once thought and find themselves ensnared as one tyranny is replaced with another. Orwell’s enduring and devastating satire about the corruption of power is brought vividly to life on stage in this compelling critically acclaimed production.

Hysterical, even if you don’t know your Mozart from your Bach, but exquisitely performed if you do! In the UK for one week only this year!

“We exist despite the sober formality of great concert halls, despite the boredom of classical musicians’ life, despite fanatic lovers of classical music, despite fans of rock, rap or pop who are afraid of classical music. We treat our Muse with a humorous irony and we’re sure, she will have nothing against it!”

The MozART Group are in the UK for one week only this year, and touring to Malvern Theatres, catch them whilst you can!

I LAUGHED AND LAUGHED EVERY SINGLE MINUTE, FROM THE START TO THE END...THESE GUYS ARE REAL MEDICINE FOR THE SOUL...

Norman wants to go on an adventure to impress his friends, so when two famous animal explorers arrive in Pontypandy, he decides to follow them into the mountains.

But when Norman discovers a rare red squirrel, one of the explorers decides to take the glory for themselves, leaving Norman stranded in a cave. Now it’s up to Fireman Sam to save the day and ensure everyone is safe on their camping adventure!

“HE’S FAST, ABSURD AND VERY FUNNY”

“NO-ONE CAN TOUCH JONES WHEN HE HITS HIS STRIDE” The

Guardian

This is not a musical. Milton Jones is tone deaf and has no sense of rhythm, but at least he doesn’t make a song and dance about it.

He has more important things to discuss. Like giraffes…and there’s a bit about tomatoes.

You might know him from Mock the Week, Live at the Apollo or Radio 4. Or that time he stood for the Scottish National Party, fought a hard campaign, but in the end had to respect the wishes of the people of Cardiff.

A whole new show of daftness. You know it makes sense.

WARNING *contains jokes from the start.

The Academy of Ancient Music enjoys a worldwide reputation for excellence in baroque and classical music. Established more than 50 years ago by Christopher Hogwood, the orchestra use historically informed techniques, period-specific instruments and original sources, bringing music vividly to life in committed, vibrant performances.

Five birthdays. Two unhappy marriages. One possessive mother. It is 1976. Dennis tinkers in his garage, cheerfully indifferent to wife Vera’s impending breakdown. Marjorie hovers in the background, making tea and finding fault. Neil has planned a birthday surprise for his wife, but Pam doesn’t share his enthusiasm, preoccupied by frustrations of her own.

In perhaps his most emotionally charged play, Alan Ayckbourn masterfully evokes a world of hidden tensions and suppressed hostility. He expertly navigates the tightrope between comedy and tragedy, guiding us towards a hilarious, yet chilling finale.

The Edinburgh Fringe smash-hit …Earnest? arrives at Malvern Theatres following rave reviews ahead of an eagerly awaited West End run.

When a traditional production of Oscar Wilde’s classic play gets underway, everything seems to be going perfectly to plan… that is, until the lead actor fails to arrive on cue and an actual audience member is chosen to star in the show. What follows is a madcap medley of impromptu games and spontaneous solutions as the desperate director does his best to keep this faithful production going. But with stage whiskey being swapped, offthe-cuff auditions being held and muffins being eaten (no matter what state they’re in), there’s just no telling what this unique version of The Importance of Being Earnest is going to throw up. Especially when more audience members are drafted in to replace an ever-thinning cast… With the script ripped up and rewritten, can the show reach its fabulous finale, just as Oscar Wilde intended? This one-of-a-kind comedy sensation is completely different, completely chaotic, and completely Wilde every single night. And who knows, you might even become a star yourself! Guaranteed to have you laughing whether you’re sitting in the audience… or performing onstage …Earnest? is perfect for fans of The Play That Goes Wrong and Noises Off!

Just 110 years ago, what is widely praised as Rachmaninov’s greatest achievement and the greatest achievement of the Russian Orthodox Church was created. The composer managed to find a way of turning the choir into an orchestra, both texturally and dynamically. The music was so personal to Rachmaninov, that he requested the ‘Nunc Dimitis’, the fifth movement be sung at his funeral. In the exquisite late evening candlelit setting, be transported by what is simply the most gorgeous choral music ever to have been written, and for a moment in time, simply nothing else in life will matter.

Following last year’s success of Fame the Musical, Malvern Theatres Young Company presents Andrew Lloyd Webber’s iconic rock-opera Jesus Christ Superstar in August 2025.

A global phenomenon that has wowed audiences for decades, Jesus Christ Superstar is a timeless work set against the backdrop of an extraordinary and universally-known series of events, but seen through the eyes of Judas Iscariot. The story, told entirely through song, explores the personal relationships and struggles between Jesus, Judas, Mary Magdalene, his disciples, his followers and the Roman Empire. The iconic 1970s rock score contains such well-known numbers as Superstar, I Don’t Know How to Love Him and Gethsemane.

This talented young company, directed and choreographed by Beyond the Barricade Company’s Andy Reiss and Katie Leeming, will bring to life a fresh and dynamic take on this classic story that will capture the attention of all audiences.

Brilliantly funny and intriguing; 2:22 A Ghost Story is an adrenaline-filled night where secrets emerge and ghosts may or may not appear. What do you believe? And do you dare discover the truth? Jenny believes her new home is haunted, but her husband Sam isn’t having any of it. They argue with their first dinner guests, old friend Lauren and new partner Ben. Can the dead really walk again?
