Welcome to the Maltz Jupiter Theatre! Whether this is your first time or fiftieth time, we are thrilled you are here to help us kick off our fabulous 2022/23 season Broadway Hits Are Back! We are pleased to welcome back Maltz Jupiter Theatre veteran Marcia Milgrom Dodge to lead this stunning production Jersey Boys.
You may notice a bright new addition to our stage! Our new LED wall and improved digital sound are just some of the investments we have made to elevate the quality of our productions and our audience experience. So much about our recent renovation focused on improving the technology and tools that our artists have at their disposal, which in turn expands the limits of what we can create.
Our work reaches beyond just what you see on our stage, however. We hope that the Maltz Jupiter Theatre can grow into a resource for many. We want to serve our neighbors by not only offering our spaces to partner organizations but also expanding access to the arts to everyone. The critical piece of our mission “to entertain, educate, and inspire” is to do all of those things for our community. We have many initiatives underway to hopefully do just that.
I want to personally thank the Maltz Jupiter Theatre staff for their dedication in bringing this building back to life this summer. I would also like to thank our Board of Directors for their unwavering support and guidance as we begin this next chapter of the Maltz Jupiter Theatre.
Last but not least, I would like to thank YOU for joining us in this brand new season. We are so glad to share our passion for live theatre with you.
The best way that you can support the Maltz Jupiter Theatre is to buy tickets. If you do not yet have a subscription to our 22/23 season, there is still time! You can buy a 4-play subscription now to secure your seats for the remainder of the season. We also have a packed lineup of limited engagements this year, which make for perfect gifts and date nights!
We hope you see you back here for our production of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.
On behalf of the entire Maltz Jupiter Theatre team, enjoy the show!

Jason is delighted to be making his Maltz Jupiter debut. His performing career began at the ripe young age of 27 when he met the woman of his dreams, then spent several depressed years acting as if he could imagine a life without her. Circumstances that Jason has since attributed to fate inevitably intervened, and now the woman of his dreams is mere months away from meeting him at the end of an aisle adorned with flower petals and telling him “I do”, after which he will immediately reply “No take-backsies”. Donna is the Nicky to Jason’s Tommy, the Frankie to his Bobby, the Yin to his Yang, and the hamper to his wet pile of towels on the floor. We are the best version of ourselves when surrounded by those who push us toward our dreams while simultaneously providing shoulders, 2 AM FaceTimes, and beautifully carpeted living room floors to cry on. “No sir, she’s not finished with those fajitas. Hey babe, swap me plates.”

Wrote his first hit, “Who Wears Short Shorts,” at 15, for the Royal Teens, and then went on to become a founding member of the Four Seasons and the band’s principal songwriter. He also produced the hit “You Don’t Bring Me Flowers” for Neil Diamond and Barbra Streisand (Grammy nomination, Record of the Year) as well as six albums for Diamond, including The Jazz Singer. Other producing credits include albums for Frank Sinatra, Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, Michael Jackson and the soundtrack for the film of Little Shop of Horrors. Several songs co-written with Bob Crewe have been cover hits for such artists as the Tremeloes (“Silence Is Golden”), the Walker Brothers (“The Sun Ain’t Gonna Shine Anymore”) and Lauryn Hill (“Can’t Take My Eyes Off You”). With his wife, Judy Parker, Gaudio produced and co-wrote the Who Loves You album for the Four Seasons and one of Billboard’s longestcharted singles (54 weeks), “Oh, What a Night.” A high point in his career came in 1990 when, as a member of the original Four Seasons, Gaudio was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In 1995, he was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, which hailed him as “a quintessential musicmaker.” To this day, Bob Gaudio and Frankie Valli still maintain their partnership…on a handshake.
“New York was pregnant in the fifties,” says Bob Crewe, “gestating with possibilities.” Crewe and music partner Frank Slay became independent writer-producers when the category hadn’t yet been invented. In 1957 they wrote and produced “Silhouettes” for The Rays, which skyrocketed to #1. Suddenly, producers in demand, they launched Freddie Cannon’s “Tallahassee Lassie” and Billy & Lillie’s “Lah Dee Da.” Crewe’s 1960’s unprecedented producing success with The Four Seasons birthed a new sound, striking a major chord in American pop. “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like a Man,” “Candy Girl,” “Ronnie” – all smashes! When lead Frankie Valli demanded a solo turn, Crewe and Bob Gaudio wrote (and Crewe produced) “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” which eventually became the century’s fifth most-played song. Crewe ran hot with artists from Vicki Carr, Oliver and Lesley Gore to Mitch Ryder, co-writing with Charles Fox the soundtrack for Jane Fonda’s film, “Barbarella.” Then his own Bob Crewe Generation exploded with Music to Watch Girls By. In 1972 Bob was in L.A., where he revived Frankie Valli with “My Eyes Adored You” by Crewe and Kenny Nolan. They also co-wrote Patti LaBelle’s “Lady Marmalade” (#1, July ’75), which was a hit again on the soundtrack of Moulin Rouge (#1, June ’01)…David Ritz

America’s unique gifts, more so than any other country, are captured in the concert band repertoire. Hear the stories of her greatness and reflect upon the memory of those who gave their all.

“Looking forward to another great season. You guys are the best!!”
Our 62nd Concert Season!
The Maltz Jupiter Theatre used the downtime created by the pandemic to complete the construction of a renovated and expanded 60,000 square foot building. To accomplish this project phase, we combined Act II (the production center/new stage) and Act III (the exterior of the Goldner Conservatory and Second Space). But there is still some work to be done.
To complete the theatre. we must complete our fundraising to finish the interiors of the Second Space, the Goldner Conservatory, and Scene.
This 40-seat dining experience will be an impressive amenity for donors and patrons that will include a catered tasting menu and bar. We will also have the opportunity to present cabaret performances in this show-themed venue.
This unique second floor location was chosen so guests arriving to the Maltz Jupiter Theatre can see our artists creating the costumes for the next production. The glass windows serve as a way to peer into the “soul” of the organization as we are creators of all our productions…exclusively for our audiences.
A new gift shop featuring theatrethemed trinkets and Maltz Jupiter Theatre branded apparel will open for arts lovers and supporters alike. All proceeds will be used to underwrite special theatre programs to benefit our community.
Education is a key element of the Maltz Jupiter Theatre’s mission. Doubling the size of the facility will allow us to engage more students in our community in after school, weekend, and summer classes and productions.
This 199-seat flexible theatre space will allow us to diversify the types of work the Maltz Jupiter Theatre can present. Our plans include producing dramatic plays and new work that are better suited for intimate spaces instead of our larger stage.
If you would like to support the completion of any of the final phases of our facilities, or to schedule a tour of the space, please contact: Andrew Kato at akato@jupitertheatre.org
