Seyyes Interview with Sheryl Fehr.

Sheryl Fehr owner of Seyyes clothing, started her business. With about 2 racks of leggings, selling out of a small basement room in her home. The interview started with this question; What made you want to start in the fashion industry? Sheryl replied, “I don’t really know anything about fashion, so this buisness thought me a lot of things about the fashion industry.” Today she has a wonderful store front with so much to offer for all women of different shapes and sizes. When exactly did your journey in fashion begin? “2015 is when I started, not knowing that I can make it as a business.” She needed to send money home to family in the Philippines.

Seyyes is a boutique that focuses mainly on women’s fashion for all sizes; What are some challenges you have faced in the fashion industry? “Challenges are that no one knew me, so I had to work hard to gain trust in the beginning’” she explained “Many places would rather trust cooperations like Walmart.” The thing most people love about her store is the fact she focuses on all sizes. What is your favorite part about working in fashion? She replied, “working in the fashion industry is fun, especially when seeing the new arrivals to do Photo shoots with my models” she continued that she loves when her consumers love her fashion sense.
Her success is inevitable because she thinks of everyone in all shapes and sizes. Is there anything you would like others to know about their journey in the fashion industry? “If you are motivated enough and know your goal in life, what it is you want to do? Then do it. Do not give up, everything in life has always struggles, but just hang in there and you can make it.” I love how inviting her store is and being able o watch her build her business has been a huge part of my fashion journey. From modeling to being a consumer and now a good friend of Sheryl I can say that she has surely made it in Lethbridge fashion.
As a model and consumer of Sheryl’s I have seen her make her way in fashion In Lethbridge. How did you know that you wanted to work in fashion? “I honestly started as extra income and did not realize I was making so much money a month, so I realized I can make this a business.” Seyyes has come a long way in the Lethbridge fashion Industry today. What is the biggest challenge you have faced of all in the fashion industry? “The biggest challenge I’ve faced is getting people to know my brand.” One thing I per- sonally love about Sheryl’s business and who she is, is she makes everyone feel beautiful from the moment they walk in the door. She has been a productive member of society creating a beautiful fashion business and putting smiles on the faces of many women from Lethbridge Alberta.
