SWLA | The Natural Eye 2022
The Natural Eye is the annual exhibition of the Society of Wildlife Artists. Now marking its 59th year, this renowned exhibition displays over 350 works from both members and non-members including paintings, drawings, original prints and sculptures all of which take their inspiration from the natural world.
The exhibition also includes project work and follows a strong tradition of observing from life. In the Out of the Frame room there will be the chance to see fieldwork made by SWLA artists who visited the UNESCO World Heritage Site in Denmark in May for the second part of the SWLA Wadden Sea Project. The SWLA has partnered with The National Park Vadehavet to document and celebrate this extraordinary area of islands and wetlands.
There will also be a display of work from our SWLA Bursary winners who attended the John Busby Seabird Drawing Course in Scotland.
