“Back on the road”
….. continuing on with my mission!
So I’ve been thinking about this, and it’s going to be something big if I do it. And by big I mean i willl flog the bejesus out of me driving wise but i recon it’s possible and worth it especially now since I can do 40-50kph from my original speed of 37kph.

Now, I was just gonna knock the Center out of the way, go up to Alice and come down the Birdsville track and meet up with the circus later on in the year down in Adelaide but I did some checking of dates and have worked out that if I get my rear in gear then there’s a chance id be able to make the QLD show run for the second time in 2 years.
This consists for me at least of around 20 AG shows (last time I did it I believe I raised around $50,000 for my charities when I first started off, along with getting to see a lot of showmen I know who are close mates of mine, not to mention the Mt Isa Rodeo and the old fellas at the Camooweal Drovers festival.
It’s that or I just take it easy, but I’m currently at around the $155,000 raised mark of my fundraising goal of $250,000 (quarter of a million) and the show run in the past has been very good for fundraising as well as meeting people, hearing stories and shaking hands.

At the same time I don’t wanna annoy people down south who have been waiting to say Gday by having a couple extra months before I see them.
Decision time
As of March 31st
Like I said it’d be a truely massive endeavour on my part if I go with it as it’d be essentially doing 2 years worth of travelling into 2 months of almost non stop driving if I wanna make it…. Hopefully slim will be good to go in the next few days.
The RFDS is over $90,000 richer!
I’ll be heading down to Perth to say goodbye to the The Great Moscow Circus before

Slim is now ready and now I am heading via Perth to Kalgoorlie.
Once again I cannot thank Geraldton Towing Services enough for everything they’ve done for me to keep me on the road.
