ore than ever this wonderful provision of warm clothing is paramount as the cold of a serious winter settles in. The Maleny Coat Rack is located in the laneway next to IGA and anyone is welcome to take or leave an item of warmth. There are hangers on the rack, so please feel free to hang your unwanted coats, jackets, jumpers and cardies. Organiser Ra' Yoga and Lifestyle’s Suzi Lough and Sue Krucker of Maleny State High school said "The vision is to initiate charity and change, through supporting our communities needs. only accomodate the above items. There is no blanket box for this year, if you have blankets to donate the Neighbourhood Centre is asking for help, so please drop them there.” The rack can only take the items mentioned so it is super important that everyone respects the rack and the IGA premises. Please help to rack small, tidy, and non intrusive – making it easy for the IGA staff to manage. The Maleny IGA fully supports the concept of the rack, staff taking it inside their store each evening as they close and bringing it out each morning as they open, which is such a wonderful community act of kindness. Thank you everyone for your support!
