Maleny Blackall Range Lions Club Changeover 2022

t’s the season for changeovers and AGM’s for many of Maleny’s organisations, with the Maleny Blackall Range Lions Club holding their traditional Changeover Dinner meeting at the Maleny Orangery on 28th June. Members and invited special guests were delighted to see Helen Johnston reappointed as President of the Club for a third term, Helen outlining the theme for the year ahead as "Fun, service, membership and club renewal”. Special guest Andrew Powell said "Thank you to Helen Johnston and her team for staying at the helm of the Maleny Blackall Range Lions Club for another year. And congratulations to Ron Brodie on 41 years of membership of Lions Clubs International and on his Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow.” Ron was

awarded at an Induction Ceremony on the night for his long years of service and dedication, to much applause. Lions normally hold a business meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6.30pm. Their monthly dinner meeting is generally held at The Orangery, 10 Mountain View Rd, at 6.30pm on the 4th Tuesday of each month.
