No form of prosperity is as controversial as land ownership, and exclusion from access to land has historically been a major cause of conflict. Certain territories are often privatised or restricted by law such as private forests, coasts and natural reserve areas. Through a multi-layered composition of physical and invisible barriers, the access is largely restricted and inhabitants are therefore left with pockets of common landscape. This mosaic-like territory of fragmented
pseudo-public
space
is
particularly visible in Denmark, where 82% of its nature is privately owned. Although the country is infatuated with property rights, they have a distinct way of exercising rights from other Nordic countries. Due to the lack of the Scandinavian right to roam, special authority is given to the private ownership.
The project aims to create a temporal connection to these pockets of nature, allowing individuals to roam the land while maintaining the natural territory. Through a series of markers in the landscape, a larger
network
of
common
land
is
temporally activated, opening up a systemic understanding of the surrounding ecology.

Through the guidelines of ecotourism, participants engage in a zipline course across Nærøy- and Aurlandsfjorden, experiencing the sublime nature it has to offer from a bird’seye view, whilst being educated on how to inhabit the woods without leaving a trace. Art of Chronology: Remembrance and the Public Bergen, Norway Year 3 Project 2017 - 2018
The project proposes a crematorium located in Bergen, Norway responding to the process of cremations through progressive placement of each stage of the service provided.
Influenced by research and the existing terrain, three platforms

intersecting

Sustainable Rehearsal Follies
Sydney, Australia Bachelor Year 2 2017
Located in the Sydney Royal Gardens, the Rehearsal folly was inspired by the surrounding structures and designed with a focus on sustainability. Through carefully chosen materials and passive methods, the building uses minimum energy to function.

Skogheim
is
an
old,
magestic
property
established in 1917 and was used as a cabin up until 2006. The current project invovles a twofloor extension, a winter garden and facade alterations to enhance the interior daylight. Through careful considerations of conserving the property’s unique features, the proposal has been designed and drawn by me.

During a two-week work experience in 2016, I designed a cabin for the extreme climate north in Norway, that was later proposed to the client.
