n Malden High School, students from all over the globe walk the halls. With descendants from Vietnam, China, Bangladesh, Colombia, Ethiopia, Venezuela, Egypt, Portugal, Uganda, and multiple other countries, one may call MHS one mini melting pot. On April 2, 2012 the celebration of the cultures of MHS began in what is known as Multicultural week. For the first time, the school has dedicated a week to acknowledge, educate, and celebrate the students of the world. continued on page 17
