HOW TO CARE FOR MELAMINE AND MICROPURE DINNERWARE Like other plastics, melamine and Micropure are pretty tough materials. But you can take a few simple steps to keep your dinnerware looking vibrant and stylish longer. Here are the “do’s and don’ts” of caring for melamine or Micropure items. Do use soft sponges when you clean your dishes by hand.

• D on’t use abrasive cleaning tools like steel wool, because they can scratch and cause wear.

• D on’t put melamine in a microwave oven. The high temperatures can cause your dishes to warp or melt. Don’t put melamine dishes in a conventional or convection oven, either.

• D o put melamine and Micropure plates in your dishwasher if you want— they’re dishwasher-safe! However, be aware that the dishwasher can fade your dinnerware’s colors somewhat. For commercial dishwashers, use toprack only.

• A void cutting directly on your melamine or Micropure products with a serrated knife to prevent nicks and scratches.

• D o inspect your dishes every so often and throw away any cracked, warped, or melted plates.

• D o pre-soak your dinnerware if you have stuck-on food or a particularly stubborn stain.

GESSNER PRODUCT CARE & INFORMATION WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MELAMINE & SAN MATERIAL? Styrene Acrylonitrile (or better known as SAN) is the common plastic material we use in our Gessner smallware items. Pieces made with SAN are usually best for quick serve restaurants, buffets, and cafeterias. The difference between our melamine and SAN materials is that SAN is chemical resistant, heat resistant, and scratch resistant. Because of this combined properties in the material, SAN has some limitations in terms of color.

Melamine is also a plastic material, that is nearly unbreakable and can be found in casual restaurants, hospitality, schools, stadiums, concession stands, hotels and healthcare industries. Because melamine is lighter than porcelain and china, it’s easier for the wait staff to carry melamine dinnerware, and can be made into different colors and designs. While our smallware items are designed to be stain resistant, if certain foods like tomatoes are left on tableware too long, it can be stained by food. Melamine material is lightweight but has a sturdy, inflexible feel and a glossy finish. It is virtually indestructible and is ideal for children or outdoor use. For best dishwasher results, place smallware items on top rack. MELAMINE NOT SUITABLE FOR OVEN, MICROWAVE OR STOVE TOP USE AND SHOULD NOT BE HEATED WITH FOOD IN IT. Gessner smallware items are all BPA Free, FDA Approved and safe to use.

HOW TO MAINTAIN & CLEAN YOUR DRINKWARE Made with the highest quality food grade materials, our unbreakable drinkware and barware glasses have the look, feel and clarity of their real glass equivalent.

• Plastic drinkware products should be treated like any fine glassware.

• These drinkware products are commercial dishwasher safe.

• T o avoid protein buildup and cloudiness caused from oils in the dishwasher, it's recommended to presoak plastic drinkware items before putting in the dishwasher.

• W ash plastic drinkware items as soon as possible to maintain clarity and quality.

• T o avoid scratching, use only non-abrasive sponges and pads to clean drinkware products.

• Use electric glass washers only if equipped with cloth brushes.

• A t all cost, do NOT use harsh abrasive cleaners, steel wool or metal scouring pads. These will make your Blazun glasses appear scratched and cloudy.

• D on’t use chlorine bleach or chlorine-based sanitizing solutions when caring for plastic drinkware products.

• To prevent scratching and damage, do not overload your dishwasher rack.

• D on’t expose plastic drinkware to direction flame or temperatures in excess of the max temperature noted on the product specification.

• Don’t microwave unless otherwise noted.

MR. DUDLEY PRODUCT CARE & INFORMATION WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN GRINDERS AND MILLS? Pepper grinders are designed with steel and a hardened mechanism to prevent bits of metal from scraping off during the process. These are harder than salt mills as peppercorns are quite hard themselves so the grinder needs to be tough enough to crush without getting damaged. The grinding mechanism has grooves which the peppercorns fall into so it’s ready for grinding.

Mills and grinders are essentially the same thing. Both use the process of grinding or crushing salt and pepper through a manual machine or an electric salt and pepper grinder. They can also be used for herbs and spices. One thing to note is that salt and pepper mills use different grinding mechanisms to each other. Salt mills are made with materials that are highly resistant to corrosion and rust caused by salt and they crush dry flakes of salt rather than grinding it. Mr. Dudley® offers a Lifetime Warranty on the grinding mechanism.

HOW DO YOU REFILL YOUR MR. DUDLEY PEPPERMILLS AND GRINDERS? Pepper or Salt Mill: Remove the top knob by turning counterclockwise. Once removed, lift off the top of the mill to access the spice chamber. We recommend filling the chamber only 3/4 full for best performance. Reassemble.

Shaker: Tip the shaker upside down to access the plug on the bottom. Our plugs unscrew counterclockwise or friction fit depending on the model. Refill the chamber, we recommend only 3/4 full for best performance. Reinsert the plug.

Combo: Remove the top knob by turning counterclockwise. Once removed, you will be able to lift off the salt chamber to access the pepper chamber. Fill both chambers, we recommend 3/4 full for best performance. Reassemble.

HOW DO YOU CLEAN YOUR MR. DUDLEY PEPPER GRINDERS? Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth. Dry thoroughly. Do not use alcohol, strong detergents, abrasives or solvents as they can damage the finish.

Under normal use, our grinding mechanisms are designed to be maintenance free for decades of use.

HELPFUL TIPS Do Not Use Salt in Pepper Mills: To maintain your pepper mill/grinder at their best, do NOT grind salt in a pepper mill as this will damage and corrode the metal inside.

Salt and pepper mills grind differently; peppercorns should not be used in salt grinders either as the metal and mechanism used isn’t strong enough to crush the peppercorns which will end up damaging the grinder.

WHAT'S THE MINIMUM ORDER AMOUNT?

The minimum order for our products is $250, and we only accept orders for full case quantities.

HOW LONG DOES PRODUCTION AND DELIVERY TAKE?

Production time varies based on product - see individual brand sections for details. WHAT ARE YOUR TERMS OF PAYMENT?

For existing accounts and repeat orders, payment is net 30 days. New customers are subject to a cash advance, including estimated freight, unless prior credit arrangements have been made, and the order will be processed once payment is received. Credit terms are net 30 days from date of shipment.

HOW WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?

FOB: We will ship using the best method, unless specified differently on purchase order, from Dallas, Texas, prepaid and added to invoice. C.O.D. is not available. Also, your order may incur a $6.00/ pallet charge. We are not responsible for the delay of any freight carrier. Call for information on additional shipping options.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY ORDER?

Cancellations must be received in writing and cannot be accepted once production begins.

Merchandise may only be returned with authorization, and must have an RGA number provided by NTL Brands, Ltd. We are unable to accept unauthorized returns.
