The Primrose Piano Quartet is regarded as one of the UK’s leading chamber ensembles. Their busy performing schedule includes regular appearances at London’s major concert halls and on Radio 3 with recent tours abroad to Portugal, Romania, Austria, Germany, Bulgaria and Denmark. Their acclaimed discography features neglected British masterworks and commissions by Sir Peter Maxwell Davies and Anthony Payne, with their most recent CD of Brahms quartets recorded in Vienna on period pianos. Their own festival is now in its tenth year.
