WHAT TO EXPECT AT PETE THE CAT

• Pete the Cat is about one hour long with no intermission.

• This show includes music, singing, talking, and applause. Some parts may be loud, and some parts may be quiet. You may cover your ears, wear headphones, move quietly, or take a break if you need one.

• You may leave the theatre at any time and come back when you are ready.

• Bathrooms are located in the back left corner.

• If you need help, ask a Making Light Productions staff member or volunteer; they wear yellow name badges.

WHAT THIS SHOW IS ABOUT

Pete the Cat is about a cool, groovy cat named Pete who comes to stay with the Biddle family. Jimmy Biddle is a very good student, but he is worried about a big test at school.

Pete helps Jimmy see that life is not just about being perfect. Together, they go on a big adventure with music, art, imagination, and new friends. Along the way, Jimmy learns that mistakes are okay, trying new things can be fun, and sometimes the best way to solve a problem is to look at it in a new way.

By the end of the show, Jimmy, Pete, and the whole family learn to be brave, creative, and a little more groovy.
