TRUSSVILLE — The HTMS Leadership/Interact Club recently conducted a ‘Cozy Coat Drive’ to benefit T.E.A.M. (Trussville Ecumenical Assistive Ministry). Mandy McIntosh class won the friendly competition by collecting 65 coats from students in their home room. The Trussville Daybreak Rotary Club sponsored a breakfast for the winners. Interact is Rotary International’s service club for young people ages 12 to 18. Interact clubs are sponsored by individual Rotary clubs, which

Margaret Elementary School food drive collects nearly 2,000 items for the Argo Food Bank
SPRINGVILLE – Alabama Scout Troop #124 member Isaac Puckett presented the Springville City Council with a proposal to turn unused city property into a multi-functional dog park. If allowed, the project will serve as Puckett’s required project to promote to the rank of Eagle Scout.

Patty Beal, the school counselor, sponsored the food drive. “The food drive is a part of our schoolwide ongoing kindness challenge,” Beal said. “I’m so proud of our students and parents for participating and making a difference in our community.”
