TRUSSVILLE — Trussville Police were responding to a call of a possible stabbing when an officer spotted the possible suspect vehicle. The driver attempted to elude police and lost control of his

Leeds host groundbreaking ceremony for Tri-County Veterans Services Center and Community Center From The Tribune staff reports
LEEDS — A groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, November 9 at 11 a.m. for the new Tri-County Veterans Services Center and Community Center will be held at 1721 Moton Street in Leeds, the site of the Moton Community Center. In attendance will be Leeds Mayor David Miller, who is also a Navy veteran, as well as commissioners from Jefferson, Shelby, and St. Clair Counties, other community leaders and veterans, will join Lieutenant Colonel Kenneth Phillips, CEO of the non-profit Priority Soldier; Major General George Bowman, Project Director; and Dr. Gloria Haynes, Executive Director of the Moton Community Center and Deputy Project Director.

TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce will host a Legislative Breakfast at the Trussville Civic Center on Friday, November 12. Check-in begins at 6:45 a.m.; breakfast will be served at 7 a.m. This event is open to the public.

downtown Birmingham, is uniquely positioned, with parts of its city within the borders of all three counties.
CENTER POINT — A minor was rescued from an apartment fire in Center Point on Mon., Nov. 1, around 9:45 p.m. According to Center Point Fire and Rescue Battalion Chief Brandon Dahlen, the fire occurred at 1991 E Bend Circle in Center Point, and the unit was a complete loss.
