Trussville 2023 North Pole Expo coming Commerce Chamber of to host Community to Trussville Civic Center Shred Day at the Trussville Civic in November Center

TRUSSVILLE — Christmas comes to town early this year, and it’s bringing the North Pole along for the ride! The North Pole Expo, formerly known as Totally Christmas, will be held at The Trussville Civic Center on Friday, November 17 from 9 a.m.- 8 p.m., and Saturday, November 18, from 9 a.m.- 7 p.m. Admission is free. In addition to the classic traditions of our show, this year we are kindly asking for donations for our partnership with The Community Food Bank of Central Alabama. We hope that you can share your season with those in need this year. We accept unopened canned food and boxed food items such as canned tuna, canned vegetables, potato flakes, peanut butter, pasta, rice, etc. Donations can be dropped off at the civic center from now until December 11.

Main Street Pinson celebrates 2 years of Pinson Trade Days this Saturday By Crystal McGough Editor

PINSON – In November 2021, Patti, the owner of Patti’s on Main Street Flea Market/Consignment in Pinson, launched an initiative to help the small-town businesses peppering Pinson Main Street after the 2020 pandemic. Bringing the community together, the businesses of Main Street hosted the first-ever Pinson Trade Days on Nov. 6, 2021. The inaugural event, which offered free vendor space, was a huge success. Now, two years later, the businesses of Main Street will be celebrating the second anniversary of Pinson Trade Days on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with new features including a children’s talent show. “People tell us all the time, ‘We love Pinson Trade Days,’” Patti said. “‘It’s something we look forward to,’ they tell me.” Originally, Trade Days
