Magen David Adom Under Fire for Alleged Monopoly on Emergency Services in Israel Decision to Leave Judea and Samaria Ignites Controversy Finding itself in a maelstrom of a highly charged political controversy over its allegedly impenetrable monopoly of ambulance services in Israel and the recent debacle over its intention to cease providing services to residents in Judea and Samaria, the Magen David Adom (MDA) is on the offensive in the midst of growing criticism of its operations. Majority of Knesset Members Believe in Hashem A survey conducted by the Israeli daily newspaper Israel Hayom has revealed that a majority of Knesset members – 85 out of the total 120 – affirm their belief in G-d. Israel’s Air Force has carried out two attacks on weapons convoys in Sudan according to reports by local media. The reports claim that the shipments, containing Iranian weapons bound for Gaza, were hit by Israeli war planes earlier this month, leaving at least two dead and several wounded.
