The immune system is one of the most critical purveyors of our physical wellness. It’s your defense system that protects our body from foreign invaders such as bacteria and viruses. A healthy immune system can distinguish between harmful unwanted pathogens and our own healthy cells and tissue.
The world is now experiencing a pandemic coronavirus strain that the World Health Organization (WHO) has named COVID-19. The alarming concern about COVID-19 is it has been designated as a communal coronavirus meaning that infection can come from human to human. Experts are saying it will take a year to a year in a half for Big Pharma to create a drug that can address COVID-19.
A strong immune system is our first line of defense against any coronavirus strain that invades our body. COVID-19 at this stage of its development seems to be reacting similar to other coronaviruses like colds and the Flu. Most of the people who have died or have become critically ill have had weak or challenged immune systems.
I believe the reason why healthy children in China and other COVID -19 infected countries have not suffered as much as adults is because children in most cases have less stress than adults. Stress can be traced to over 80% of illness in America. Stress weakens the immune system.
In the mid-‘80s scientific research discovered that our immune system ishighly intelligent. It became known as “a floating brain” because of the ability of immune cells to participate in chemical messages sent by the brain throughout the body.
This scientific acknowledgement became the foundation for the spiritual-science movement. A time when scientific research began to explain why spiritual wellness practices such as meditation, Tai Chi, Kigong, Qigong and other internal immune building techniques work to improve wellness.
Negative thinking, fear, doubt and anger will weaken your immune system, and this is no time to have a weak immune system. There are many external natural immune building products and services that you should consider, I will make a few suggestions later.
The most important point in all of this is that nature is selective, those who

are not aware of their ability to straighten their immune system and how to prepare it to do battle with invading pathogens may find themselves on the negative side of the next stage of human development.
Harlem Holistic Wellness Week (www.h2w.nyc) is next month April 25th to May 2nd the week will start with a two-day wellness expo scheduled to take place at The City College of New York. This will give individuals an opportunity to learn about products and services that can strengthen the immune system.
The week will have workshops, and wellness events that will focus on natural options to reduce stress, your immune systems greatest enemy. I will write about products such as Ginseng, Homeopathy remedies and Full Spectrum CBD oils that can improve your immune system’s ability fight invading pathogens in future articles.
I can’t express the importance of mindfulness meditation as the best way to create a positive mental environment for your immune system. If you are reading this and have never considered the possibility that meditation might be a life saving tool; the mind of the universe is speaking to you.
