PRESIDENT OBAMA PUSHES PERMANENT STATUS NEGOTIATIONS “NOW”

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, will be greeted on his arrival to the United Nations, with cries of protest from tens of thousands of people from all walks of life. About 50 Jewish organizations and an equal number of Iranian and democratic freedom loving organizations will be joining forces in a massive protest as Mr. Ahmadinejad steps to the podium in the UN. Mr. Ahmadinejad has been very vocal in his denial of the Holocaust and in his threats against the State of Israel. n a statement before leaving Iran for his New York visit he said that he was proud that he angered Western countries by denying the Holocaust. The Iranian president was quoted by the Iranian News Agency as saying that the angering of "professional man-slayers is a source of pride for us and will not stand in our way." He reportedly was referring to Israel and Western countries. While speaking at a Tehran rally marking Jerusalem Day, when the Iranian regime expressed solidarity with the Palestinian Authority’s aspirations to an Arab state in place of Israel, Ahmadinejad said that the Holocaust was a "lie," and that Israel's days were "numbered" and its regime was "dying." "The pretext for establishing the Zionist regime (Israel) is a lie," he said, "a lie which relies on an unreliable claim, a mythical claim and the occupation of Palestine."
