The home of Former Chief Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, which is visited by thousands of people from all walks of life, has known many moving moments. Few could match the recent visit by three busloads of Jewish women and their children, who were rescued from Arab villages and are now leading full, Jewish lives. t was erev Rosh Chodesh Elul, a special time of mercy and Selichos, and these survivors were being taken on an unforgettable trip organized by their rescuers from Yad L'Achim, led by Harav Shalom Dov Lipschitz SHLIT”A, the organization's founding chairman.

Guess Who Wants To Be Governor
Georges Marciano, co-founder of GUESS?, plans run for Governor in California. Georges Marciano loves California. The 62 year old Beverly Hills resident was an early fashion industry pioneer. Since the first day of his fight, he has sworn that 100% of any money recovered, including his own, would be donated to Californians in need. “Let's put a stop to the shame of seeing the people of California and their kids living in camps,” says Marciano.
