They will be able to get an unbelievable view of the magnificent firework display, cruise along Manhattan’s waterways, take a historical walking tours, and attend fabulous concerts.

Cheering and applause filled the courtroom as fraudulent “investor” Bernie Madoff, was served to 150-year prison sentence. housands of people who lost billions of dollars in the investment scheme, have been waiting for months to see what the duration of Madoff’s sentence would be. Some had testif ied at his hearing. Angry investors voiced their opinion by hurling insults at Madoff for orchestrating a malicious scheme that ripped away their life savings. "The fraud here is staggering. More is at stake than money. The victims put their trust in Mr. Madoff and that trust was broken,” said Judge Denny Chin before he sentenced. "Never in my wildest dreams did I expect to be sitting in a courtroom as a

victim of a hideous crime," said Dominic Ambrosino, one of Madoff ’s casualties. “He stole from the rich. He stole from the poor. He stole from the inbetween. He had no values,” said Tom Fitzmaurice, in regards to being subjected to Madoff ’s scheme. “The man sitting in this courtroom robbed me. He discarded me like roadkill. Forgiveness for now will have to come from someone other than me,” said Miriam Siegman, another one of the angry investors who spoke out in the courtroom. Siegman could not bear to stay throughout Madoff's lawyers' statements. She walked out when Madoff's attorneys spoke. Prior to his sentencing, Madoff addressed the courtroom with an

I was on vacation with my family in Iceland when my office called and shared the terrible news of Michael Jackson's passing. My wife and children were with me in the van. We could scarcely believe what we had heard. The children all remembered Michael fondly. He had given them their dog Marshmallow who is a member of our family until today. My daughter teared up. And while I was heartsick at the news, especially for his three young children, I was not shocked. I dreaded this day and knew it had to come sooner rather than later.
