Board of Selectmen Chairman Debra Panetta told the audience how proud she is of each of the recipients who were honored for achieving a minimum grade point average of 96 while playing football. “Only two percent of Pop Warner players make Pop Warner Scholars,” Panetta told the audience. “My son made it. And it helped him get into college,” she said. Mark Stephen Panetta Jr. won the scholastic honors in 2010. He later went on to Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where, as a member of the Class of 2018, he is majoring in electrical and computer engineering. Another selectman – Jeffrey Cicolini – got to experience the
