Chefs Corner Dearest Maketewah Members!
Wow! What an exciting time here at Maketewah. From these great events, well played golf and just the great comments from everyone makes me feel really blessed to be here. As well we have been so busy in the kitchen. Breakfast has been received well and the dinner crowd has grown so much. We will continue to keep you guessing what we will do next. Summer is on its way and our pool is officially open for your enjoyment. We have fantastic new novelty ice creams from the pool house so be sure to give them a try. You should also check out some new items for you to try this season on the pool house menu. I hear the avocado ranch wrap is getting some attention out there already. Thanks to everyone again for your support. Come hang out with us and be sure to let me know how we did!

Membership Director Dearest Maketewah Members! Summer is finally here! I love seeing everyone out at the pool soaking in the sun and getting a great start to their summer memories! Things look different this summer compared to last, thankfully! Now that the Covid restrictions have been lifted, we are no longer requiring reservations for the pool, masks are optional and the seats are back at the bar in Tony's! I am sure that I speak for many of us when I say that I am happy to see everything back to normal (for the most part at least). Open dates for private events are filling up, so make sure to reserve your party with Peg if you think you may be hosting. We love serving your guests and we love being a part of your important family celebrations! Don't forgot to ask Kierra to make a custom birthday cake for you! You won't be disappointed. Gina has some great summer gear in the Pro Shop, don't forget to stop by and see her to update your Mak gear and find some cooler options now that the heat has arrived! Membership continues to grow, we are sitting at a waitlist of 22 members. If you have any family or friends who are interested in joining Mak, I would be happy to show them around and answer any questions that they might have. Getting on the waitlist now is a simple $1k deposit that goes toward their initiation fee. The waitlist grows almost weekly, so make sure they get on the list now!
